Maintenance department is huge chaos and sales aren't much better. I was getting ready to buy a Avalon from them today that we had negotiated for few days . I received an E mail from them at last minute while we were heading over there to sign that this car had just been sold to other person for few hundred more. Only things is ; they just lost another local RI customer who has been doing regular minivan service there for years . I guess the left hand is not communicating with the right hand - Nobody cares!! More

They were to detail the car but 1 hand didn't know what the other was doing."O we don't do that on wednesday why did he say bring it in". VERY disappointed in Colonial Toyota. 42 LBS IN EVERY TIRE!!!!??? REALLY??? You have a HUGE problem in your prep dept! My son is so disgusted with this whole deal, I cannot get him to 42 LBS IN EVERY TIRE!!!!??? REALLY??? You have a HUGE problem in your prep dept! As far as he is concerned, other than cancelling the whole deal or returning money so he can have these things fixed, there is no point. "Right rear wheel bearing (shaking), front CV joint, heater core valve (noise under hood), front brake pads & rotors, LED display lights for heat and a/c don't illuminate. We were told nothing is done to used vehicles until they are sold, but then EVERYTHING would be taken care of." Nothing but a quick wipe down with a wet rag. More

Bait and Switch Do not purchase the Toyota Pre-paid service plan without something in writing. I found out 6 months later the plan I was told about was not the plan I Do not purchase the Toyota Pre-paid service plan without something in writing. I found out 6 months later the plan I was told about was not the plan I was sold. My vehicle was not eligible for the higher plan due to the mileage so they gave me the lower one for the same price. The lower one only covers oil changes and an occasional tire rotation whereas the plan I was told about was supposed to coverage ALL of Toyota's recommended service. Toyota just now has clarified what I bought and it was nothing like the one I was told I purchased. When I requested Toyota to cancel it, I learned that they have a $25 cancellation fee. Toyota suggested I go back to have it flat cancelled back but I just want to sever my ties. This is too bad since my salespeople were great and I love the truck. Maybe when I'm ready for another vehicle my salespeople will have moved onto another dealership. More

I tend to be a demanding customer, this didn't seam to faze them in the least. If I asked for something they worked with me to get it. I would recommend this dealer to any of my friends or relatives (I drove 1 1/2 hours and would do it again). Thanks again for the help, I am no longer a "pissedcustomer", well not at this dealer anyway :-/. More
Great sales guy I worked with Mike Norwood and he was very helpful. I knew went in early in the week to kick the tires and understand my options. Mike didn't call and hassle me during the week, he was honest and straight forward. I had a little interaction with Justin but he was also very polite and down to earth. I'll be honest to say this was my first experience buying a new car and either everyone is using hyperbole to describe their interaction with the car buying process or times have changed. I did my homework and asked for a fair price and feel like I did okay and am very happy with my car. I will say that the computer system took a long time to print my information which is what lost a star. Mike had me in and out signing paperwork very quickly. More

Their mechanics just sit doing nothing because if the horrible service, and try to find something from your car which you don't even have to worry about. I took my car to different mechanics and they told me that nothing is wrong with that part and told me just go there and explain. I called service manager and he told me he will give an estimate tomorrow, since one week every day he calls me and gives me an estimate - still waiting for service manager Mike's phone call. DO NOT EVEN come close to this dealership - they will RIP YOU OFF. I have serviced my 2 cars here and NEVER EVER will go back. Try Fox Toyota on Rt 44 - you will not regret. More
