Christine was my initial contact over the internet and she was great with follow up throughout the process. At the dealership we first met with Russell who has a very calm, no pressure approach to buying, which works!! He knows a lot about the product and is good at selling with his knowledge. He gave us space alone after we drove the truck to think about it (not done at other dealerships). Russell was also good at following up throughout the process of purchasing and after the purchase. Abed, the finance guy is great. He put together different scenarios for financing and payments and the benefits of each. He talked about life and finances and taught us a lot about credit and credit scores. He is an asset to the dealership and wears great socks. :-) We will definitely recommend this dealership to friends, family, and colleagues, and use this dealership again if buying a Toyota or used car they have in stock. The one thing that disappointed me was getting the truck with under 1/4 tank of gas, it would have been nice getting the truck with a full tank of gas, or at least half full. More

I bought a certified preowned car from Colonial just over three months ago. About three weeks ago, I started noticing a noise that sounded like it might be a brake issue. I live 50 miles away, so I took it t three months ago. About three weeks ago, I started noticing a noise that sounded like it might be a brake issue. I live 50 miles away, so I took it to a local dealer who informed me that certified cars should have 50% or more life on the brakes but that it would have to be Colonial that would do the work since it is a workmanship issue, not a Toyota warranty issue. At that time I called Colonial and spoke with someone that answers the phones for the service department. (I didn't catch her name) She explained that if it was a workmanship issue that they would cover it but that she couldn't guarantee that over the phone. Next, about two weeks ago, I tried to reach the Service Manager, Mike, in hopes of getting a more clear understanding before driving 100 miles with two cars twice. He didn't answer a few times and I finally left a message for him on 1/21. Mike didn't return my call then or after another few attempts and messages, so I decided to try an email on 1/25. The only email available for service on the site was colonialsvc@aol.com, which I though was wierd but tried anyway. That day, I recieved a voicemail from Rayna Botvin on my cellphone, but the phone didn't ring before the message popped up. I thought that was also weird but was happy to have finally found a warm body. I called Rayna back but she was out. I then tried her for the next three days, leaving at least four messages with no response. I decided that I had to do something more drastic, so I emailed Toyota corporate and explained the whole issue. They wrote back a few days later that they had forward my info to Rayna and I should hear back from her soon. On 1/28, I had another no-ring message from Rayna. I looked it up and I guess there are services out there that you can use to leave voicemails for people without actually having to talk to them. Since then, I've been trying a few times a day to reach someone at the dealership with no luck. A few hours ago, I even tried the owner, Jim Botvin. I took my car to another dealership today as at this point I am concerned about safety and they told me that I should definitely not drive that car another mile. That dealership has also had no luck reaching anyone at Colonial nor has Toyota corporate themselves. My car is undrivable and I am picking up a rental after work today. To say that I am unsatisfied would be a major understatement. More
Trista Robertson being our Sales Dealer was a pleasant experience for us. We are a Toyota family, having a Corolla in our garage already. We would recommend Trista, and Colonial Toyota to others. My wife and I were comparing vehicles to purchase. We went to Colonial Toyota to drive a Highlander. We were very upfront that we were not going to purchase a car that day and that we were going to drive went to Colonial Toyota to drive a Highlander. We were very upfront that we were not going to purchase a car that day and that we were going to drive competing models. The sales manager, Ben, was very understanding and assigned a salesperson, Amanda, to spend time with us. Amanda was fantastic. She gave a full description of the Highlander to us, button by button. There was not one thing about that car that Amanda did not know. She spent alot of time with us and we loved the vehicle. Even though we did not negotiate a parice with Amanda, before we left, Ben gave us a price for our trade in and a bottom line for the new car. It was a great deal! We went to other dealers and drove their cars (Honda, Nissan) and we even "came on down" to a competing Toyota dealer and was less than impressed with their service. We have not yet bought a car, but I called Colonial and told them that we were going to buy a Highlander very soon and that we were buying from Amanda. There was no pressure or sales tactics used and we felt very comfortable and at ease. I cannot say the same for the other dealers we visited. More
We recently moved to Rhode Island and needed a new Toyota Dealership for our 2002 Sequoia and 2012 Highlander. They treated us like family and notified us of a service recall for the Sequoia frame! We ende Dealership for our 2002 Sequoia and 2012 Highlander. They treated us like family and notified us of a service recall for the Sequoia frame! We ended up getting a new frame, several suspension parts and it was paid for by Toyota. The mechanic that changed the frame did a fantastic job too. I picked up the vehicle and drove 800 miles to Maine for a snowmobiling trip and the truck ran without a single glitch. I was nervous because changing the frame is a huge job and I thought something might go wrong. Not a problem though. These guys are professional and top notch. I've heard horror stories about some other Toyota dealerships in Rhode Island, but not here. These guys have a customer for life. Thank you Colonial Toyota! More
Just a note of thanks, I just stopped by to check out the preowned selection and ended up taking a Rav home with me. Unlike alot of the other dealships I did not feel pressured of overwelmed. I have bought many cars over my life-time and feel that the men and women of Colony Toyota treated me the best ever. The salesman (Ed) was not agressive or tried to sell me a model I did not want and liste the men and women of Colony Toyota treated me the best ever. The salesman (Ed) was not agressive or tried to sell me a model I did not want and listen to my concerns ($$) and needs. Henri in Finance was most helpful and did do his job by pointing out some options I could add on, but did not pressure me or try "Hard Selling" them. The woman in the Insurance department (sorry no Name!) was most helpful in getting my insurance binder taken care of very quickly and was most helpful...I will diffently recommend the dealership to my friends (a co-worker recommend Colony to me), and relitives in the future. Thanks again for a great job. Purchased 2012 Toyota Camery LE 8/23/2012. More
I was very impressed by this dealer place, especially working with Amanda. I had been car shopping for the past 3 months and everywhere I went the salesmen were not interested in what I was actually look working with Amanda. I had been car shopping for the past 3 months and everywhere I went the salesmen were not interested in what I was actually looking for but interested in how much I was willing to pay a month. However, Amanda stuck to what car I knew I wanted and the budget I was looking for. The entire time she just had regular conversations with me and told me about the car. Even asked nicely if I liked the car. She got to know me a little in only 30 minutes before we closed the deal. She knew what I was looking for and was trying to offer me the best deal. Customer service is really important to me and that is why I would highly recommend Colonial Toyota. Car dealerships shouldn't be looking at there customers through dollar size lenses but actually trying to know their customer and accomdate their needs. It would make them more successful if they actually cared for their customers like Colonial Toyota. More
I went to Colonial Toyota to purchase a new vehicle. I did my research and had the invoice price, as well as a fair market price for my trade in. After a couple of tries during the week, Colonial could no did my research and had the invoice price, as well as a fair market price for my trade in. After a couple of tries during the week, Colonial could not close the deal. The salesman went so far as to say I would never get the deal I wanted from another dealer. Lo and behold, I took the drive down to Boch Toyota Norwood (not N. Attleboro)... Not only did they give me 125% of Kelly Blue Book trade in, but they met the price I wanted to pay for the new vehicle AND added LEATHER interior to my new PRIUS!. This is my second positive experience with Boch,, the previous being Boch Honda. I guess that fact that they have no mortgages and pay for all their cars goes a long way. I will NO LONGER waste my time anywhere else but at Boch in Norwood. Sorry, Colonial! More
