Overall VGOOD but feel I was misinformed with the purchase of GAP insurance and want to cancel it. Found out that I can get it at a much cheaper rate from my own insurance company. I didn't realize just how much the reputation and service of a dealer mattered until I received beyond superior attention and care at Toyota Scion of Scranton. My auto purchase (and I am a first time buyer) from start to finish including selecting the vehicle, loan process & approval, getting a great price, all phone calls and paperwork was complete in less than a day! Response time for phone calls, emails, nevermind the courtesy of everyone I met there, was outstanding. This will make it memorable in my mind forever. I have always said that good service is hard to remember and bad service hard to forget, but after today I will always know there is good service, and then there is exceptional service, and Toyota Scion of Scranton I will never forget! I originally went to a different Toyota dealer that I passed every day going to work. I knew I needed a new vehicle. My 4runner had 242k miles and it was time. And being a loyal Toyota driver I knew my n passed every day going to work. I knew I needed a new vehicle. My 4runner had 242k miles and it was time. And being a loyal Toyota driver I knew my next vehicle needed to be a Toyota. I did all my homework and had all my financing. So I just needed to pick a new vehicle out. I went to this other dealer and 2 weeks later and coutless phone calls and visits and hours of my time...still no vehicle...because" that model doesn't come that way". Extremly frustrated I went through USAA's car buying Service and they directed me to Scranton Toyota. When going through this service Scranton Toyota autimatically is notified with contact information. And so it begins... Within an hour I had been called and e-mailed. Because it was during work hours I asked that most of my communication be via e-mail. That was not a problem. I had given all my vehicle criteria with the car buying service and within 24 hours (actually I'm sure it was more like 12) Mark e-mails me and has located the vehicle. Within 72 hours (okay, 96 hours) I was there picking up my new Rav4. So Thanks to Mark and Doug within 96 hours I had the best car buying experience ever. And drove away in a new vehicle that another Toyota dealer said didn't exist but Scranton Toyota found. More

I must say, I was a little nervous about taking my car back to the dealership for work. The wait times are always long and the problems with my car were never really explained by the mechanic. I was always just given a list of repairs that always seemed inflated. This time around was so much different! A few months ago I took the car in because it was making some strange noises on the highway (I waited a while before sending this because I wanted to see if the noise came back, as it usually does after a week or so). The mechanic, Mike, came out to talk to me about the problem. He explained things in terms I understood! He was very kind and patient with me, and I felt very comfortable leaving the car in his hands. When I got the car back and drove it home, the noise was gone. After a few weeks, the noise didn't return and I haven't had any other issues with it since. Honestly, I was thinking about trading it in, but it runs so well now I think I'll keep it for quite a while. Mike's professionalism and customer service skills are second to none! I have never been treated so well in all my dealings with this dealership or any other, for that matter. He is a great asset to this dealership and any time I need an oil change or whatever else, I will ask for him! Thanks Mike! More

I have to say I was greeted like I was family, that's a good thing lol. I did not say in-laws. I met Julio Garcia , and he helped me as I was 30 minutes early and he did not want me waiting. I let Julio know that I was interested in the Matrix, he offered me coffee and a donut and checked on this vehicle. Julio checked on the car and bad luck on my side it was sold the night before. That bummed me a little as I was concerned I would not find a car at that price. So Julio reassured me that we would find a car at the right price. I met Teresa and again I was offered coffee and a donut, god I would get fat working there. She assured me that Julio would take great care of me. I reply yes he is. Well we looked at about five cars and I was surprised to find out I could afford a much more dollar amount. I went with a 2009 corolla , beautiful car at a great price. Only 27100 miles. I went with that. Now I was in a head on head crash not my fault and I did not except to but a cay that week . I did not have a penny to put down and Julio said not to worry, I still worried and in the end it was great. No issues at all , this was the easiest I ever bought a car! In and out in 3 hours, I will let all my friends know about the wonderful deal I received their at Scranton Toyota. Oh and all so I did receive a 25 dollar gift card to target too!, all so a full tank of gas and free car washes! Five stars all the way around, not just me but I noticed everyone that came in the door, same service. Thank you so mush for making me feel like family, I needed that after that week I had.
