I scheduled an appointment for a mandatory recal repair on my 2009 Rav4. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and my car was taken right in. I asked how long the appointment would take and was told an hour or less. I was also told an hour or less when I had called over a week prior to make the appointment. The man who initially began my paperwork was surly and abrupt. I took a seat in the waiting room after he asked if I would be waiting. Again- I asked how long the work would take and I was told AGAIN less than an hour. Three hours and 15 minutes later this man came looking for me. He claimed he had me paged but I was standing three feet from him near the counter when he was brought my keys. He did not page me. I asked why the work took so long. He ignored me. I asked again, I told him I wanted to know if their was an issue with my car I should be concerned about. He told me that no work had been done. None. My car didn't need to recall work. My car was fine. 3 HOURS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES for NOTHING? So again, I asked why it took so long, and he told me to have a nice day. I assume this is because I wasn't a paying customer? Why should that matter? It shouldn't. More
My purchase experience at Scranton Toyota was pleasant. I thought that I got a fair deal from my sales person: Sean Fisher. He was a professional with great manners and a sense of humor. We have been buying our Toyota's from the previous owner of the dealership (Richards/ Gibbons) for nearly 20 years. Hopefully, the service will be as good as it was before. Sorry that it took so long. Right after the purchase, we got hit hard by hurricane Sandy, and then my sister fell seriously ill in Florida. I was flying from New Jersey to Florida every few days. She died on December 6 and then started more running around because I was her POA and executor of her will. More

I have been a long time Toyota customer. This is the 11th Toyota vehicle I or my direct family has purchased from this dealership over the years. Garria and Tanya were great. In the past as a courtesy the person actually blessing the deal(dollars, trade in etc) would come out and say hello and introduce themselves. This would give the buyer sense of reassurance that the entire organization was behind the deal. And a feeling that there was a personal participation on the part of management in the deal. This was not the case this time. Additionally, I was apprehensive since only one person I had dealt with in the 20 years of dealing with this membership is now employed at Toyota of Scranton, Brenda in the service department. Fortunately for your organization Garria was extremely professional and closed the deal smoothly. Brenda has always been great when I brought a car in for anything. Your group at the top of your organization should spend some time with these individuals. It could make the experience better for your customers. More

This is the 4th car we have bought from this dealership, 5 if you count our son. They have gone out of their way to make sure the price is fair and they are very quick to prepare a new or used car for deli 5 if you count our son. Service seems to be able to work a customer in quite quickly. Since we mentioned we were buying a fifth car from them, everyone appauded. I see no reason not to go back to this dealership when the time comes to buy another car. Aside from all that, Toyotas hold their value. More
