I was little surprised of the amount of work that needed to be done, but I didn't want to risk driving my car. When I came to pickup my car there was a limit on my account so allow me extra day on the renta to be done, but I didn't want to risk driving my car. I had been to my credit union to make a deposit, and when I tried to start the car afterward, it would not start. I called AAA, and the tech they sent was excellent. He tested the alternator, the starter, and the battery. He said the battery was very low but was able to start the car. He said I could make it to Rockwall Toyota. So, I show up at Rockwall Toyota without an appt. The service rep Joe Lopez was excellent. My hearing is not good, and he was very patient and very helpful. They took the car immediately. I believe the car was ready with a new battery in just over an hour. Joe explained that the battery was a 7-year battery. Since I was stressed when I arrived, I could not have asked for better service. The new battery actually cost a little less than I was told it would be. A comment about my response to the question about the importance of the dealership service center in deciding where to purchase a car. If the service center is not trustworthy, the sales department probably isn't trustworthy either. More
