Poor communication Dropped off car for periodic service (18 months) on Thursday, 12/13, and asked about a starter issue. I'd asked before but nothing was done to find a Dropped off car for periodic service (18 months) on Thursday, 12/13, and asked about a starter issue. I'd asked before but nothing was done to find anything. Michael did look into the issue kept the car over night and discovered the car needed a fuel pump replacement. He asked to keep the car till the next day since there wasn't one in stock. He said he would be off Saturday but someone would be in contact when the car was ready. Sat by the phone on Saturday and late Saturday afternoon called service to check on the status. I was then informed the part didn't come in so they would have to keep the car till Monday. I felt someone should have notified me when the part did not arrive. The part came in Monday and my car was fixed. I called to ask Michael if my car was ready and went to voicemail. (Turns out Michael was off on Monday as well). Called back a second time talked to a nice woman in service who went to Michael's desk and found my car was ready. Don't know if I would have been notified or not since the paperwork was on MIchael's desk and he was not working on Monday. In this case it seems appears that since my service rep was off work, no one was covering is active service projects. The service on the car was perfect and I can understand a supply chain delay, but I was not impressed with the communications. If the part didn't come in on Saturday I feel like I should have been notified so I didn't sit around all day expecting a call telling me my car was ready for pick up. And again on Monday, as mentioned earlier, I doubt if I would have been notified if I hadn't taken the initiative to call in twice to find out. I also feel the reception desk/phone reception should have known Michael was not working on Monday and told me on my first Saturday call instead of offering me his voicemail. Instead I waited another hour and a half waiting for a call back from Michael. More

Toyota of Rockwall always exceeds my expectations. Appointments are easy to make and get. Once I arrive the dealership I am usually met by Randy Scearcy who treats me more like a friend than a customer. He goes over what is going to be accomplished that day with my car, how long it will take and whether I want to wait there or at home. Almost always I wait for the auto...showroom is comfortable, clean, and I can enjoy a great cup of coffee while waiting. The car is almost always finished in less time than planned, Randy goes over the services performed, asks if I have any questions and offers to set up my next appointment or to call my home when the next service is provided. You can not ask for more than that, and I deeply appreciate his continued effort on my behalf. As it stands today, I am a Toyota Rockwall customer for life...My loyalty whether Buying or servicing my Toyota's (have 2) will now and forever lie with Toyota Rockwall and my guy, Randy. He takes exceptional care of my car and me..Am very, very happy with the care I get at my Toyota dealership, Toyota of Rockwall. More
