In contrast, the people in the Toyota dealership of Killeen, TX are complete idiots. This explains why I drove over three hours (one way) to work with these gentlemen. I called before going to Toyota of Richardson on a highlander that was showing online. They lied just to get me in, as I found later they already had deposit on it. They showed me another one (way out of my budget) which I only agreed to look at and thats it. We started talking numbers as I wanted to find out the the value of my trade-in. As I realized that even after their best offer, it was too expensive for me, I wanted to leave. But Mr. Harmon Goins in pre-owned would not let me go without insulting me, my wife with my 9 month old getting annoyed during this conversation. He played guilt angle with me and insulted me so much for a sign on a piece of paper that I did to say that I would buy it. He would not even let me leave though I promised to call back once my kid settles down, without insulting me. It grew so much that fellow customers yelled at him for his misbehavior and walked out of the showroom. We walked out and had to wait outside in wind and cold for them to get my car back so that we could leave. I guess when higher management sensed that they might loose more customers as we left, they came running (Mr. Cesar Sotelo and their director of operations) apologizing for Mr. Goins behavior and offering us a better deal. I left at that time feeling humiliated and agonized from Toyota of Richardson. They did end up offering us a good deal just because of this episode and apologizing several times. I went back later to accept their offer and apology. I am not going back again ever though as I know that Toyota of Richardson lacks standards that can prevent horrible people such as Mr. Harmon Goins getting into the dealership and torment potential customers. Mr. Harmon Goins still works at Toyota of Richardson so buyers beware. Apparently this dealership values horrible employees more than potential polite customers. Silver Lining: I originally had my appointment with Mr. Jordan Allan (car salesman) who took very good care of us during this entire episode. He apologized several times for his superior's bad behavior. Tried to comfort us by calling while we were gone to see if we were doing ok and to offer us keep the car for the weekend for free. His follow-up after the purchase has been exceptional at several times. More

We were greeted by our friendly salesperson, given all the time we needed to look, and then he answered questions as needed. There was no pressure, only subtle probing which is what we prefer. When we came back to purchase, he recognized us immediately. We waited while our offer was considered. We quickly reached an acceptable price. The car was touched up (although very clean to begin with) while we waited. Paper work was reasonably quick as well. I don't have the name of our finance man there, but he was efficient too. The lot was really busy as it was during a sale and a Saturday. All in all a very good experience! More

Between my daughter and I we have purchased our last 3 cars from TOR....by far the best dealership I have ever purchased a car from!! From the sales team to the finance department each time I have experienced nothing but genuine honesty and a upbeat helpful team that makes me feel comfortable with my new purchase. We have purchased used and new cars with no issues or problems. Terry Tolbert was the sweetest, most friendly gentleman I have ever met in any type of sales, he completely knew the ends and outs of the Fj Cruiser!! Terry had the car completely ready for me at pickup time with a full tank of gas and all shined up...!! Rey Reyes in finance was amazing with the paperwork and efficient with showing and explaining to me what each document I was signing was...nothing was hidden and he has an amazing upbeat attitude that puts you at ease. I have never had a dealership show me the report on a used car that assures you that it has not been wrecked before. Reyes boss Kevin Herlehy ensured that the deal went through with the lowest possible finance rate and with the much needed insurance policies that I would need, and Herlehy has always taken care of me in the past. TOR as a whole has always treated my daughter and I as if we were family...so with that being said I give TOR a 6 star and will continue to buy from them!!! Thanks TOR!! More
