If you have to work with Danny Tabora (finance guy), just be warned all he wants is to get you to sign the documents and get you out of his office! He will not even attempt to explain what you are signing an be warned all he wants is to get you to sign the documents and get you out of his office! He will not even attempt to explain what you are signing and when he does he purposefully speaks above your head or very fast just to get the whole interaction completed. I would never have submitted this review but I've had it! Fine, I signed the documents hoping to get a better explanation of everything but I should have taken time to read the documents myself before signing so I there lies my fault too. Nonetheless, what really annoys me is that, once I have signed the documents, I ask for a copy of my documents (which should have been given to me on day one but wasn't because as I already said, Danny was trying to get me out of his office but of course after signing on the dotted lines!) which I am yet to receive. Today marks the 10th day of begging for my documents! To me, it's not the pre-purchase treatment that matters but how you treat me after I have bought the car! If you have to go Toyota of Richardson because all the other dealerships in town have been destroyed by a bigfoot, I would advise you to ask for another finance guy! More
Wednesday, July 11, 2012 -- Stop by after work to see if they had a Scion FRS and sure enough they did. Spoke with Sam Mansfield, Scion Sales Manager. Nice guy, but not very knowledgeable about their prod they had a Scion FRS and sure enough they did. Spoke with Sam Mansfield, Scion Sales Manager. Nice guy, but not very knowledgeable about their products, especially the technology aspects of the Toyota and Scion. Strange, considering he was a manager. Sam was a very nice, laid back, no nonsense guy. Husband met me up there and test drove the Scion-FRS, which is a cool car, but very bare bones on the inside and scant on technology, compared to other cars in it's class and below. We decided to look at the Prius C and later, decided to purchase. The painstaking process took nearly four hours and our brains were fried and by the time we made it back to the finance department, the dealership was closing. After signing all the various paperwork, the upsell was in full swing. My husband told them from the beginning "No" and we continued. The finance lady asked him "What if I could give you blah, blah, blah and deduct this much out of your check every two weeks, etc and you'd save this much money and pay it off quicker, blah, blah, blah." She made it sound like she was actually giving us this crap, so my husband signs off on it. Fast forward to this morning after a night of rest and access to a calculator, he realizes that this lady basically scammed him into agreeing for everything he told her that he did not want in the first place. He called the dealership and asked for the person in charge, who never bothered to call him back. I called them approximately three hours later and spoke to Jeff, the Sales Manager. He called my husband and said that we could come back in and go through all the contract crap again, which we were not willing to do. After we didn't show up to pick up the Prius C, he called and my husband told him that we'd take our business elsewhere and he said, "Alright." Having a customer service background, this is no way to treat a customer. Most businesses/dealerships would do whatever it took to make things right for their customers and gain their trust. NOT Toyota of Richardson! Our sales person, Sam Mansfield, didn't even bother picking up the phone to call either. Apparently this dealership doesn't need anymore business and if they treat a new customer this way, I can't help but wonder how they'd treat you once they had your money? More

I have purchased two new cars from Ed in the last 3 to 4 years. He makes it easy to do business wiht Toyota of Richardson. Even more importantly, I recommended Ed and the dealership to my 79 year old moth years. He makes it easy to do business wiht Toyota of Richardson. Jeremi did a a great job of addressing all of the items that I had on my list to fix in addition to the 60k service for my Tacoma. He went ahead and replaced the A/C blower fan because it had been making that I had on my list to fix in addition to the 60k service for my Tacoma. He went ahead and replaced the A/C blower fan because it had been making a noise on and off but of course the morning I went to drop off the truck the fan was not making the loud noise it had been. You can hardly hear the new blower fan. Jeremi went through what services would be performed at part of the 60k service. More

We got a used car on a Friday night. They didn't even fill up our gas tank. Only gave us 5 gallons. (We drove an hour to get there and our trade in had a full tank).Since it was after hrs, were told to c fill up our gas tank. Only gave us 5 gallons. (We drove an hour to get there and our trade in had a full tank).Since it was after hrs, were told to come back for a detailed cleaning.  Ok. We went back the next Monday and waited over an hour. The cleaning job was terrible we couldn't tell if it was really cleaned or not. Many stains on floor and seats. Had to have someone else professionally clean it!!   3 weeks after we got the car, we had the oil change light turn on. We wondered if they even did an oil change before they sold the car to us. We contacted this dealership and they said they did change the oil and we should have a oil change sticker on window. Guess what?...We DIDN'T have the sticker either.  Their customer service is terrible compared to any other dealership out there. I will not buy car from here ever again!! There are many other dealerships you can buy cars from and give you much better service! Save yourself some time! More
After being given a email price quote for a specific Camry LE, at my visit to the dealer I was assigned a different saleman, and both he and his supervisor refused to honor the price quote, even though Camry LE, at my visit to the dealer I was assigned a different saleman, and both he and his supervisor refused to honor the price quote, even though I had a copy of the email with me. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a dealership. I bought a 2010 Camry LE and find it a poor value. They were not interested in me as a customer or making sure that I understand a with a dealership. I bought a 2010 Camry LE and find it a poor value.
