They call it a "market adjustment" but what it really is is price gouging. They do it because they can, not because they have to. Even if you offer to give a deposit to reserve a car and pay the rest of the price in full in cash when it arrives with no financing, they still want you to fill out a financing application and come to their office. Dishonest business practices all around. I recommend you do business only with Toyota-designated SmartPath dealerships, who are supposed to give you a final, total, Out-The-Door price over the internet (without having to visit the dealership), and some of whom pledge to sell at the MSRP with a modest markup for dealer processing (typically less than $1000) and no "market adjustment" price gouging. Overall it was a terrible car buying experience. Stay away at all costs (if you plan on buying anything used/not owned by Toyota as it is Russian roulette as one salesman phrased it). First of a Stay away at all costs (if you plan on buying anything used/not owned by Toyota as it is Russian roulette as one salesman phrased it). First of all when I test rode the car it was an absolute mess, dirty, not detailed. I urgently needed a car and was in a bind, so I purchased a used car there with 83K miles, 2014 for 11k with 2.5k in fees and taxes. By the time I purchased it, it was only half detailed. The dealers fees of $898 are ridiculous, in addition to all additional fees. The salesman Andre was non negotiable and very difficult to work with. He was unfriendly and condescending, especially when asking questions and since I was paying cash. After feeling defeated when the signing process was complete (which wasn't horrible, although Savanna didn't have a clear explanation about the arbitration document) unfortunately, I had problems with the vehicle a few days later. I took it back to get serviced and the problem appeared fixed. A few weeks later the check engine light came on, car started making noise and ultimately broke down in the middle of the road. I towed the car to dealer and it was deemed unfixable. They put me in contact with customer relations Cynthia. The only option I was given was to trade in this car I had just bought 6 weeks earlier, for another vehicle. Upon returning to the dealership, understandably I was upset about the whole situation. While walking through the dealership, I saw the salesman that sold me my now broken vehicle with some customers and in passing I said "Watch out for this guy, he sells crappy cars" then make my way to the front desk to seek out a manager. Abruptly, 2 employees rushed to me, threatening me of calling security and escorting me from the property. This was by far not the best way to de-escalate the situation. After they realized I was planning on spending more of my money, they had me looking at cars before even knowing what the offer would be on my "trade in". After picking a new car, they offered me 3k for the car I bought there 6 weeks prior for 11k. I was shocked by this and I literally broke down in the waiting room after we were negotiating for the 2nd car. They ended up increasing the offer to 4k and convinced me to lease a new vehicle. And of course I had to pay all the dealership fees again. I was given a rental car the 2 weekends the car was in service which was accommodating but does not make up for the fact that I was sold a lemon and it was not rectified. I came to a reputable dealership, expecting quality service and product. But what I got was anything but quality. For a dealership that supposedly thrives on great customer service, I am highly disappointed and disheartened. More
DO NOT deal with this dealership. Veronica will tell you one price over the phone… two days later it’s a different price. The manager, Daniel, won’t discuss anything other than the MS Veronica will tell you one price over the phone… two days later it’s a different price. The manager, Daniel, won’t discuss anything other than the MSRP. They get your info online to provide the internet discount… you guessed it…. There is no discount. Due to chip shortage they are messing with their customers. It’s all fun and games for them now, but demand is falling and those people who could have been customers will remember. More

If you wanna be treated like herd of sheep’s then go to Toyota of Orlando. I went there to buy truck even though they had none in stock they still wasted 1 hour. First kid took me and started showing me us Toyota of Orlando. I went there to buy truck even though they had none in stock they still wasted 1 hour. First kid took me and started showing me used SR 5 Tacoma trucks even though from the start I told them I am only interested in Tacoma TRD Sport. Then I was handed over to another slick salesperson who asked me several questions had nothing to do with buying truck even though he knew there are no truck in stock wasted wasted my time. Finally I stopped him from chit chatting and told him I hear to buy Tacoma TRD. He said let me check the inventory then came back and told me we don’t have any and don’t know when we are going to get any soon. I asked him what they are selling for he told me I can’t even tell you the price you can google it. So now then keep on calling me 2 to 3 times a day I don’t know for what. I called the dealership to talk to the manager but every time told that manager is not here. I have left 3 messages but no one ever called me. One of the worst experiences at dealership ever in my life. They treat you like herd of sheep’s I saw several customers sitting on tables frustrated with pushy salesmen wasting their time trying to sell them something. More

Mr. Aundre Robertson of Toyota Orlando was the worst dealer I've ever had to deal with. Let me start off by saying that I recognize that buying a car is a business transaction that doesn't always work o dealer I've ever had to deal with. Let me start off by saying that I recognize that buying a car is a business transaction that doesn't always work out. The guy buying a car and the guy selling the car often can't come to an agreement, and the deal doesn't go through. It happens. It's just business. No hard feelings. But just because this is just business, doesn't mean you have to be rude to the buyer if the buyer doesn't want to take your deal. While I was trying to buy a car from Toyota Orlando, Mr. Robertson had a surcharge he wanted to add on top of the sales price and taxes of the car. I questioned the charge and stated that I had not seen other dealers add that charge for the same car I was trying to buy. Mr. Robertson's response was "well, that's because you haven't been shopping enough for a car." I thought he was being rude and condescending. I expressed that I would be willing to take the car without the additional charge. Mr. Robertson said No (which again, he has the right to do). I then said I could not take the car and I proceeded to get up and leave. Mr. Robertson then stated "well, come back when you've had a chance to shop around and you are ready to buy a car." Again, I thought this comment was rude and condescending since I had been shopping for a car now for a month and was absolutely ready to buy a car this day. I replied with "with respect, I've been shopping around." To which Mr. Robertson just laughed and said "No you haven't." I was getting annoyed by this point and again stated "Yes, I have." To which Mr. Robertson smiled and stated "You'll find out." By this point I flat out called him out by saying "now you're just being rude." To which Mr. Robertson just shrugged and walked away. Thankfully my wife and two minor daughters were in another room and didn't witness the exchange because i thought the guy was totally just being disrespectful. As I was leaving I asked to see Mr. Robertson's manager, and I give Toyota Orlando credit for having two people (including a sales director I believe) come out and talk to me and note my complaint. Again, me as the buyer and the dealer don't have to agree on the numbers to buy a car. Again, it's just business and either party has the right to walk away from the deal. But the dealer has no right to talk down to the buyer like that. Even if the dealer is ultimately correct about the numbers and mechanics of a proposed deal, don't belittle the buyer by laughing at his face telling him he hasn't shopped around enough like he said he has. For this reason, I give Mr. Aundre Robertson a one star as a car dealer (only because I can't give him zero stars), and i give Toyota Orlando three stars for at least having the decency to come talk to me and note my complaint (even if they ultimately don't take any action on it.)
