We went in to trade in a vehicle and purchase a Toyota Corolla. We had wanted 18k for the trade in of our Pontiac GTO with only 30,000 miles. It was in near perfect condition with the exception of a min Corolla. We had wanted 18k for the trade in of our Pontiac GTO with only 30,000 miles. It was in near perfect condition with the exception of a minor car accident listed in the carfax. The dealer told us the car in perfect condition would only get us $14k and that due to its Carfax the final offer was a little over $12k. We pointed out the kelly blue book placed the car value of the trade in at about $18k. Gerry proceeded to explain to us that Kelly blue book simply isn't accurate. We decided to go through with the trade after he continually assured us the car was simply not worth more than 14k and that trying to sell it as a private seller would be a losing proposition. We had to bring the car in the next day since it was not with us at the time of the blind appraisal. The next day we still felt a lot of hesitation since we had taken such good care of this car. Due to our hesitation we asked to speak with Gerry about the trade again - we felt like we were getting taken advantage of. With his car salesman talk he explained to us he'd been in the business since 1984 and that he knew how the dealer viewed this car. That it was a novelty item and the only people who'd want it would be broke kids that couldn't afford it or the insurance. That due to the accident on the car fax any serious buyer/collector wouldn't want it. This car would probably last 30 days at most on the lot before it likely ended up at auction. He looked us straight in the eye and told us this car would end up on their website priced at NO MORE than $16.9k. Lo and behold, today we look on their website, and the internet price on our "undesirable" car is $18,995! We feel like someone with nearly 30 yrs in the car business, worked us over and took advantage of us and our trust during this transaction. Unless this dealership steps up and does something to make us feel like Gerry's act was an individual one that does not represent them or Toyota, I intend never to set foot in a Toyota dealership again. In fact, I intend to make sure no one I know sets foot in any of their dealerships as well. Any company willing to have this little integrity, look someone straight in the eye and cheat them out of thousands of dollars is never again going to be worthy of my business and my positive word of mouth. If you are considering purchasing a car, stay clear away from Toyota of Orlando and Gerry Polisky. They will rip you off without giving it a thought. More
In follow up to my last review… I called Toyota headquarters to complain about the poor service at the service department. They said that the head of the guest relations department would call. I returned the call and asked for Brian. A lady picks up and says Brian is busy and offered to help. I said that I was calling for Brian to discuss a specific situation. She said that she could help and asked me what the problem was, I gave her a brief synopsis and she said that the only reason Brian would be calling me was to SELL ME A NEW CAR!?!? Really? I asked why would he try to sell me a car when I was just in to get mine fixed and I’m not happy with the service. She said that my car must have been old or something and said that he could call me back. I said no thank you and hung up. So apparently all they care about are selling cars even if it means damaging your current car to try and make a sale. I gave up. Now for what prompted this follow-up review… I just took my car into the shop for an oil change and new tires. When they were putting the new tires on they told me that my rear shocks were in need of replacement that there wasn’t much left to them. I couldn’t believe it because that is what this dealership just replaced. I challenged it and they showed me that they were bad, which explains the terrible squeaking noise the car has had since we picked it up from the dealership. I pray every time I get in the car that they actually replaced the timing belt and did it with the proper materials and everything. I knew the shocks weren’t worth arguing with Toyota of Orlando. They would either (a) try to sell me a new car (b) argue with me that it was my fault the new shocks broke and not their fault or (c) break my car even more to try and sell me a new car. Thanks to this dealership I don’t think I will ever buy nor endorse Toyota again. My whole family makes fun of the dealership and I’m reminded of the terrible experience every time we have to drive by the dealership, which is frequently now that they are next to a major highway. I can’t imagine we’re the only ones who have had such poor service. It seemed routine when I called to complain about the service that they turned me to Brian to sell me a new car. At least the second set rear shocks from my shop were half the price Toyota charged me for broken ones. More

Toyota of Orlando and their staff ...swept me away with their Phenomenal Service. I feel sad I can't remember the name of the representative who took me to the car lot to see the Toyota cars and let me test drive my car before I bought it. That was the MOST important thing of the entire sales process, because I wouldn't feel confident enough without seeing the car first or test drive it in order to buy it. On 08/20, I traded in my 2008 Luxury SUV for a beautiful 2012 Toyota Camry XLE and my daughter and I are now very Happy with our new Camry. Aundre Robertson was calm and very informative and Shawn Sibley also helped me in the final process of filling out all the finance and important papers by doing so with patience and reassuring that I was completely satisfied with the entire sales and service process. Kudos to Toyota of Orlando for also having a small Snacks and Coffee Shop with a friendly staff where I took my daughter to get a snack while we were waiting in the lobby. More
Beautiful new location! Nicely decorated and very comfortable w/extra amenities, such as the Toyota cafe. My rep, Michael Borchers was friendly, attentive and customer service oriented. Drew did a fantastic job of communicating and keeping me up to date on the progress of my repair.
