I unexpectedly found myself in the market for a new vehicle after I blew the engine on my current vehicle. My job requires long distance travel and I could not be without a car. About 5 years ago I made a career change that dramatically reduced my salary leading to financial chaos for some time. I was not going to be an easy customer based on my credit and was treated as such by several dealers in Orlando. That all changed at Toyota of Orlando when I met Bud (sales) and John Vanscoy (finance.) They were consummate professionals who took the time to work with my situation. Bud and John were professional, courteous, understanding and seemed genuine in their desire to assist me. Some may say this is because they are in sales and only wanted to close a deal. I hear that but after dealing with "Salesmen" at several large Orlando dealerships, I can say I never felt more comfortable and satisfied with any other sales experience in my life. I am a realist and know financial transactions are based on credit, but they looked at the totality of my situation in conjunction with my credit. I walked out with a brand new vehicle, payments I can afford (high, but expected based on my credit,) and a dealership who now has a customer for life.
