Wow! What can I say.. Toyota sells great product but their customer service is awful. After spending hrs tryin to make a deal with $10,000 cash and a crefit score of 730 they did not do anything to get their customer service is awful. After spending hrs tryin to make a deal with $10,000 cash and a crefit score of 730 they did not do anything to get me the lower monthly payment I deserved. They just played the same old car dealers tricks to get me to put down $2,000 extra to get to the payment I wanted. So I walked out really frustrated and dissapointed about the whole situation and went down to Surherlin Nissan. Spoke with Marcos Gomes sales consultant i felt like as if I knew him from childhood. Straight forward guy that listen ed to my needs and gave me the deal of a lifetime all within 1:20 minutes. I got way more car with Nissan then I would of gotten with Toyota. Nissan gave me the exact payment i needed that Toyota refused to give me and also bought out my toyota which was leased with Toyota of Orlando. Unfortunately Toyota lost a good sale and a customer for life and Nissan gained one. For James you outta be selling bycycles for Mallmart! More
Awful presentation, awful experience. The only caveat to the entire experience was the Product Specialist, Jose. He was excellent in knowledge and service and made everything tolerable, up to a point. The s the entire experience was the Product Specialist, Jose. He was excellent in knowledge and service and made everything tolerable, up to a point. The system for new customers of Toyota of Orlando is abhorrent, and I would highly recommend an Organizational Development intervention. Their system needs to be revamped or restructured. I set an appointment with Michelle to meet with a member of the Sales staff through their website. I should have known better, because I received incessant calls and emails from two different people trying to confirm my appointment up to the day. After the third time confirming, it got really old. Once I made it to the dealership, I was greeted by a friendly Jose, who was everything I wanted a salesman to be. He was trusting and warm, and he made me feel important and welcome. He leads me to the entrance of the main building, and the receptionist was sitting there smacking on her gum and did not bother to acknowledge my wife or I. This really bothered us. Instead, she chose to continue to smack her gum whilst flirting with another male employee. I held my tongue, as I usually would bring this sort of behavior to the attention of the culprit. Jose leads us to a table and asks us to sit down, while we wait for Michelle, the appointment setter, to arrive. After about 10 minutes or so, Michelle arrives and greets us whilst smacking gum and talking. This, apparently, is a thing here. She shakes out hands and says Jose will take good care of us and begins to walk away. Confused, I asked "was that it?" She turned around, confused as well, apparently. I turned to Jose and asked him why we basically waited 10 minutes? Meeting Michelle was the most utterly pointless and time-wasting process anyone could have ever designed. Ever. I asked her what her role was, and she said it was to make appointments. I asked "why did we have to meet you?" She says, "because that's how the process is." So, we go test-drive cars. We narrow it down to a Certified Used Camry XLE. We go back to the main building to run numbers. This is where Jose leaves us, and another person comes into the picture, a Sales Specialist named Manny(?). I'm not entirely sure of his name because I was blindsided by the lack of willingness to help us. Yes, we were upside-down on our trade, and yes, we didn't have perfect credit, but aren't dealerships supposed to help you work around that? Manny tells us that we can't get the Certified Used Camry, and that he will have to switch us to a new base model Camry that was almost $10k more. Okay, let's see where it goes. Our intent was to leave with a new vehicle with a payment that was less that what we currently have. That's what the commercial says, right? Manny comes back and tells us that they can do the deal, but we would be paying $100 more for a base-model Camry. He justifies it by saying it's a new car with a new warranty! Obviously, he didn't pay attention when we said the current car payment is out of our budget. Why did he think $100 more per month would magically work? We tell him we can't do that, so he leaves and returns and tells us that it may be better to come back at a later date when we have better credit or about $7k to put down. That's not really what we wanted to hear. I've never really been told that by a dealership before. Every possible solution we thought of was put down immediately by this man, and it was very apparent that he wanted to be somewhere else. In the end, I told him unless he could give us a better deal, do not call me again. I left feeling almost as low as I could because this vaunted and supposedly amazing dealership didn't want to work with me. Never had a car dealer do that before. Not only did this leave a bitter taste in my mouth towards the dealership, but towards Toyota as a whole. Incidentally, the very next night we purchased a brand-new 2014 Kia Optima GDI with Convenience Package, with payments lower than what we had on our trade-in, and a very low interest rate at Kia of Orlando West. The Optima drove much better than the Camry, believe it or not, and the warranty cannot be beat. You get more car for your money. Also, the staff treated us with such kindness and everyone was so professional at Kia of Orlando West. We never felt unwanted or unimportant. For us, that made all the difference in the world. I will still say if that Sales Manager tried to help us out, we could have bended a bit and made the deal work, but he didn't give us the time of day. Certain Toyota of Orlando employees can learn some class from the staff at Kia of Orlando. More

I had a great experience working with Toyota of Orlando. Never once did I feel pressured into purchasing a vehicle. They asked me what I was looking for and showed me some great choices. They cared about m Never once did I feel pressured into purchasing a vehicle. They asked me what I was looking for and showed me some great choices. They cared about my "checklist." The best part was that they had the perfect car for me! I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2010 Prius, which was in great condition!! I am so happy about my purchase and would recommend Toyota of Orlando to anyone! Being an Enterprise location, they even took care of the Enterprise rental I had been driving around! Excellent customer service and an excellent selection of vehicles!! More
After placing an internet request, I was contacted by the dealership and told that they had the exact car I was looking for but I would have to come to the dealership to get a quote. The next day, I called t dealership and told that they had the exact car I was looking for but I would have to come to the dealership to get a quote. The next day, I called the dealership twice to make sure they had the vehicle on the lot. I was reassured (twice) they had the car (new) that I had previously asked about. We ,immediately, left for the dealership which is a 2 hour drive from my house. When we arrived at the dealership and ask to see the car, it was clear that they didn't have it. They had another car that was "similar" they wanted us to purchase but it had different interior than the car I called about. After waiting around 2 hours, while they did whatever to "find" the car because it was somewhere hidden on the lot, they showed us the same car again. I had to ask the manager to apologize for us driving 2 hours for a car they promised but clearly did not have. He did apologized in a very nonchalant manner. I really felt we were deceived over the phone, so that they could get us in the dealership to make sale on a car I didn't want. It could of been a careless mistake but I did call twice that morning to verify and then they tried to sell us the wrong car twice when we were on the lot. It was really an awful experience and they did nothing to compensate for either their deception or mistake in having us spend 4 hrs total driving to/from the dealership plus wasting 2 hrs of our time waiting for them to find the car only to be shown the wrong car twice. I could of understood this if the manager had at least acted apologetic and tried to correct his mistake instead of pressuring us to buy cars we were not interested in. Tomorrow I will pick up my new car from the Toyota dealership in Tampa, which has been amazing in comparison to Orlando. More
