I went in for a scheduled 5000 mile service for my new Camry, reached the service line at 9:55 am, but had to wait until 10:35 am before the service adviser came over to take the car. He said that the service would be done within 1 hour and that he would text me once the car was ready. I never got a text. I tried calling Service at 3 pm but nobody was able to help find out if the car was ready. So I went to the dealership at 3:45 pm (closing time was 4 pm) and they couldn’t find my car! Finally, the manager helped locate the car. But it had no service record entered in. The manager told me that service had been performed but was not entered in, and I had to just take his word for it. I am giving 2 stars only because the manager was nice. More

Told the 2nd visit that it needed an update to the software. 3rd visit was told that a technician would call me back within the hour of leaving. No call so I called the dealership back 5 hours later. And was told I would need to bring it back. When I asked if they would be able to fix the problem this time. I was told I would have to see the service foreman and that he didn’t have a phone number. The dealership is a 2 1/2 hour round trip. More
