I purchased my 2024 4-Runner here and have been in twice for normal service. Had a rodent chew through my brake line and some other electrical stuff. Please save yourself the time and money and avoid this dealership like the plague. I recently purchased a used vehicle here and immediately had it inspected from an unbiased 3rd party. To my dismay, there dealership like the plague. I recently purchased a used vehicle here and immediately had it inspected from an unbiased 3rd party. To my dismay, there was almost $6k worth of issues that needed to be addressed. Here is a list of items that were wrong… - metal to metal brake pads - 4 bald tires - deteriorating motor mounts - engine hose leaks - no clutch fluid - bad brake fluid - worn serpentine belt This isn’t even the entire list! When I brought this to the dealers attention, I was completely shut down. They just kept saying that there was nothing wrong with the car and that I was essentially being lied to by Honda. I had video evidence showcasing the deteriorating motor mounts, as well as the 2mm brake pads, worn serpentine belt, and engine leaks. Clearly that wasn’t enough for them… This has got to be the worst dealership that I have ever worked with! Rather than fix their mistake, they would prefer to screw over a paying customer. It’s absolutely insane that they wouldn’t address safety concerns and just admit to having sold a car that needed work done before it should have ever left the lot. Now I have a car that I don’t feel safe to drive unless I dump a bunch of money into it that I shouldn’t have to. This place deserves negative stars and I wish that I could give them that. I hope that I at least save one person from making the mistake of purchasing from here. No one should have to go through this. Update** After being told to reach out to the preowned Manager, this is the useless response that I received… Dear Buyer, “Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns regarding your vehicle purchase from Toyota of North Austin. I understand your frustration with the condition of the vehicle upon purchase, especially regarding the rear brakes. Our team has thoroughly inspected the vehicle in question after it was brought back. We found that the vehicle is in normal working condition for its age and mileage, and all systems are functioning as expected. While we strive to ensure that all our vehicles meet our standards before they leave our lot, we must respectfully decline to perform any additional work on this vehicle. We appreciate your understanding that with used vehicles, conditions can vary based on their history and wear. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope you continue to enjoy your vehicle.
