Was very pleased that I was not subjected to high pressure sales. Gilbert was very helpful and enjoyed our time spent with him. pressure sales. Gilbert was very helpful and enjoyed our time spent with him. More
Customer service is not this dealership strong point. I was promised services that did not occur and was not kept informed in a timely manner about when and if services could be provided. I brought it in once before for a stain in my car and they did a beautiful job, but this time they only got MOST of the gum out, and didn’t touch the rest of the car. Also- like I said, cilajet was expensive, and we got it because we have young children and dogs. Every time I go in because I have something I can’t get out (because cilajet requires that the dealership tries to get it out before they replace anything) nobody knows what I’m talking about. I usually take it to Toyota south, but they “don’t know what cilajet is” and tell me I have to take it back where I bought it- but now nobody at north Austin knows what it is either. I have tried to contact cilajet directly and have been told to go to the dealership- but now nobody at the dealership knows what I’m talking about. I bought my van 5 years ago, brand new, at Charles maund. Now 5 years later nobody knows what I’m talking about and I feel like I wasted $6000 on this cilajet garbage. What a scam. Also- my oil wasn’t changed, and none of the maintenance was done. I brought it in because it says maintenance due on my dashboard, and I chose to take it all the way north because I could get the stain tended to there in addition to the maintenance. Still have a message saying maintenance due. I put all this information in the form when I made my appointment over a week ago. It was printed on my receipt- that I needed an oil change, had a coupon for it, and also wanted a stain looked at. It was printed on my receipt- the exact message I typed in on the form. Why have us do that if nobody looks at it? So I will probably never bring my car here again, or buy a car there again. There is a Toyota dealership in south austin that actually does what I ask them to. Also- your “advisors” are really condescending- with the exception being a very kind young man in a ball cap that helped me get my keys when everything was done. They act like I am asking for a kidney when I say I need a stain looked at- and apparently asking for a stain and an oil change is just way too much. I honestly didn’t know what to say when I was holding the receipt and pointing at the message that said “oil change needed- have coupon” and have the advisor tell me “I didn’t know you wanted an oil change, ma’am.” I love my Toyota- I really do, and I will absolutely buy another one, but not from this dealership. I don’t even blame the advisors- there is clearly a lot of turnover, and not a lot of training, since nobody knows anything about this package I bought. I might be pretty rude to customers if I had no idea what anyone was talking about. More
