We have experienced many different salespeople in Austin. In searching for a new Toyota, we reached out to a few dealers. Only Joe seemed to genuinely want to help us find what we were actually looking for. In searching for a new Toyota, we reached out to a few dealers. Only Joe seemed to genuinely want to help us find what we were actually looking for. All the other salespeople kept trying to sell us something else. This was a big deal to us. We were going to spend neary $60K for a new car and wanted one that had all the features we were looking for... including color. Only Joe worked to actually help us find and purchas the car we really wanted. Today we actually purchased a car to drive until the one we really want comes in. Wow... never though we would do that. The service department did an incredible job with both of my vehicles. Joe Calamore was exceptional. It was because of him that I even brought my cars there. I had no idea that you serviced vehicles other th my vehicles. Joe Calamore was exceptional. It was because of him that I even brought my cars there. I had no idea that you serviced vehicles other than Toyota. He told me to bring the cars because they did incredible work. He was not kidding. They diagnosed and fixed the cars very quickly. The last place I went to made me leave my vehicle for a week and the final diagnosis, seemed like it was a guess. As it turns out, it was a guess. That was one of the two cars I took to Joe. I have dealt with a lot of people in the service industry over the years. Joe is a breath of fresh air. He takes pride in his work and he is the reason I will take my cars to him from now on. On Monday I had an appointment to get some work done on my car. When I dropped off the car the service advisor, Martin, told me it would take longer to get the work done that what I was told by the schedul my car. I agreed to leave my car there and shared I got off work at 8:30 PM that night. Martin said he'd leave the keys under the driver's side floormat. When I arrived at 8:45 my car was locked. Ken Echetebu was very helpful in trying to figure out how to help get into my car and ended up calling a locksmith, explaining I would need to pay the locksmith but Toyota would reimburse me. Once Ken knew the locksmith was on his way he left. Locksmith arrived around 9:45 and unlocked the car but the keys were NOT THERE. Byron was the only employee left in the building when I explained the situation. I insisted he call someone that can find Martin to find out where my keys were. He began making phone calls but then he locked up the building and left without another word. A few minutes later the cleaning crew came back and had been given instructions on where to find my keys in the service department. Tuesday morning I spoke to the service manager, Angel regarding the situation and reimbursement for the locksmith. He left me a voicemail later Tuesday saying if all went well the reimbursement check should be ready that afternoon. Today is Thursday - I left 2 messages for Angel to call with an update on the reimbursement but have had no contact from him. This is sadly, one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. What kind of company is comfortable leaving a woman locked out of her car at 10:00 PM - topping it off with a lack of response to reimburse the cost of the locksmith? Very disappointing to say the least. More
