I went in for a car service and they wanted to charge me for a previous service i had a year ago. A year ago they had us wating for more than 4 hours for an oil change service and they decided to give us a for a previous service i had a year ago. A year ago they had us wating for more than 4 hours for an oil change service and they decided to give us a free oil change since we waited for more than 4 hours at the dealership. Once i went back again for the same service a year later they wanted to charge us double for last year and charge us for a service we did not ask or wanted to get done at the time. We only came for an oil change. I had to talk with the service member and the manager and they were arguing over the charge and wanted to charge us for a service we did not ask to do. They wanted to overcharge us. More

Poor Installation and Damage to My New Car It was my first time to visit Toyota North Austin to have a front license plate installed. I went there as a walk-in client. I asked one of the staff if I need first time to visit Toyota North Austin to have a front license plate installed. I went there as a walk-in client. I asked one of the staff if I needed to register and get an appointment, and he said I just could wait for that. I was asked to wait while the technician worked on it, but the job was done poorly. During the first attempt, the drill slipped on the bumper and misaligned the plate mount. The technician tried drilling again, but the work was still incorrect, resulting in multiple holes in the bumper due to the drilling. The damage was so severe that I had to stop the technician from continuing the work, as it was clear that the car was being significantly damaged. I was extremely disappointed with the outcome, especially considering my car is brand new. One of the employees referred me to the manager, named Will, who attempted to fix the issue himself. However, he also failed to do a proper job and only created more holes in the bumper. When I asked Will if anything could be done about the damage, I was frustrated by his response: "There's nothing I can do about it."" I asked him if it was possible to polish the scratches and repair the damaged holes, but he just replied that the bumper is plastic, and there was nothing more he could do, adding that the damage would just be covered by the plate." I left feeling deeply disappointed and frustrated. I cannot accept the damage done to my new car and the lack of resolution provided. Update on the case: Toyota North Austin reached out and offered me only $180.00 to cover the repair for the damage they caused to my front bumper while installing the front license plate bracket. I consulted with different car services, and the scope of work involved is much more than that. The estimate for the repair is between $2,500 and $3,000, which includes parts, labor to install and aim the radar/sensors, painting, and miscellaneous costs. I feel taken advantage of and dismissed in this situation. $180.00 is a joke for this repair. I am very disappointed in how this has been handled. They want me to drive back to Austin just to get this done, and it will take 5-7 days to repair. I am currently in Arizona for my job and work remotely, and I told them I am unable to drive back to their shop for the repair due to my job, as it could cost me my employment, but they insist and offered me a check for $180. Additionally, I do not trust them to properly fix the damage, especially after they drilled multiple holes into my bumper. Their offer of just $180.00 for the entire repair is unacceptable.” More
