I have been trying to get a warranty item fixed on my car for almost a year. There are mold spots under the clear film protection on my car. They said it was covered under the warranty. They would have to st for almost a year. There are mold spots under the clear film protection on my car. They said it was covered under the warranty. They would have to strip the film off and clean it and then replace it. I have been going up there, calling them and all i get is the runaround. Told me to take it to the body shop which I did. Took pictures of it and never heard back. I called and they said to go back to the service dept and they would handle it. The service dept said the body shop would fix it. Now they said bring it back in and they would see if someone would take care of it???? This has been going on since November 2022. I have the original invoice where they wrote it up to be fixed. Can someone please help me? I have been a loyal customer and have bought several Toyotas from this dealership and all my services have been done by them. More
When I bought my new vehicle in Dec 2022 from Lynch Toyota, I was told I would get 2 key fobs. I wasn’t told they were on back order until I had signed all paperwork and asked for the second key. I onl Toyota, I was told I would get 2 key fobs. I wasn’t told they were on back order until I had signed all paperwork and asked for the second key. I only received 1 and was told they were on back order since October 2022. I have been trying to get my 2nd key ever since. Finally, I got Toyota Home Office Customer Service on the phone with Montgomery Toyota as it’s closer to me.. Montgomery Toyota said I could come in a week later and get my key. The lady spoke to parts and said it was ordered. Today I go to my appointment and 30 minutes after being there, a service guy called and said my key fob wasn’t in. Someone failed to order it. I now have to make another 40 minute drive into town next Thursday to hopefully get the new one. Very poor service. I had a bad experience for my initial service appointment at this dealership too. It certainly isn’t as friendly and dependable as McConnel Honda or the previous Toyota dealership. I’ve owned 4 other Toyotas but doubt I’ll ever purchase another one due to the service and lack of care! The reason I bought from Lynch Toyota was because Montgomery Toyota wanted to add $5000 to purchase price. In the end Lynch Toyota added an extra $1000. I would never buy from either dealership again. More
We drove 10 hours one way to pick up a new Prius Limited after having made the deal completely online and over the phone, including our trade-in. When we arrived at the dealership, everything was exactly a after having made the deal completely online and over the phone, including our trade-in. When we arrived at the dealership, everything was exactly as we had discussed prior to driving in. Uriah, Kaylee, Jerry, and Robert were wonderful, as was Tyler. Uriah Brown especially went out of his way to make every detail of the experience smooth and a pleasure. He took all the time we needed to answer any questions and show us the car's features. The entire process was seamless, and we were on our way back home in a short amount of time. Thank you for making this a very positive experience for us, even after a 10-hour drive in and another 10-hour drive back home again. More
My review is based on an unsatisfactory attempt to purchase a new Prius. I first inquired about a plug-in hybrid Prius Prime (which is not yet available here), put down the $1,000 deposit required to purchase a new Prius. I first inquired about a plug-in hybrid Prius Prime (which is not yet available here), put down the $1,000 deposit required to conduct a search, and was then told that the purchase price would be $10,000 over the list price of the car (which I never saw). With taxes, title, and my deposit, the final cost would be over $52,000. At the same time, I also negotiated on a "regular" hybrid Prius Limited that was advertised on Montgomery Toyota's website for $36,598. I was given a handwritten price of $43,593--$7,000 higher--with no itemized list or other information on the base price of the car and the cost of various packages and add-ons. I ended up rejecting both offers and negotiated a deal with another area dealership for a nearly identical Prius Limited. The price listed on its website included the packages and add-ons (which totaled $4,017), raising the price to $38,482. I paid $1,000 more than that--a reasonable mark-up on this scarce but popular car and $4,000 less than Toyota of Montgomery's price for the same car with similar or identical options. In fact, the total cost I agreed to--adding in sales tax, title, and delivery charges--was STILL almost $2,000 less than the pre-tax/title price I was offered at Toyota of Montgomery. Even after losing my $1,000 deposit at that dealership, I still came out ahead. The salesman and sales manager at Toyota of Montgomery claimed they were being "transparent" by telling me their outrageous and undocumented price "up front." The only thing that eventually became transparent is that Toyota of Montgomery is out to price-gouge its customers with neither transparency nor shame. More
On April 18, 2023 My Husband and I walked into the Toyota Dealership. I had never been to a Toyota dealer in my life, but I wanted to replace my Chrysler van with another van. We were immediately met by t Dealership. I had never been to a Toyota dealer in my life, but I wanted to replace my Chrysler van with another van. We were immediately met by the most gracious and polite sales person I have ever met. He was extremely polite and very product knowledgeable. I told him what I wanted and he explained to us about having to order a van due to having none on the lot. Even though it took almost 3 mos. to get one in, he was always keeping us in the know about what was happening and on July 1st we purchased our 1st ever Toyota SLE Van. The man of the hour in my opinion is Mr. Lawrence Phillips. If I live long enough to happen to need another car, I hope Mr. Phillips is still with Toyota of Montgomery. I have never been treated with so much respect by any salesperson anywhere. I am 76 yrs.old and bought cars from dealers all over the state, but Mr. Phillips ranks #1 in my book. Thanks Lawrence for Everything!!!! More
I love the car I purchased and the sales person was nice. The dealership however does take advantage of you. I wish I had read the reviews first before driving 200 miles there. I should have known better whe The dealership however does take advantage of you. I wish I had read the reviews first before driving 200 miles there. I should have known better when they could not give me a price over the phone or text. The price ended up being about $8000 over MSRP for a protection package that was not explained, not wanted, and no information provided for it upfront. I’m guessing they do this as an underhanded way to make money thinking most people are never going to take advantage of what is supposed to come with it so that’s free money for them. They didn’t give me a drive out tag before I left the lot. I got about a mile down the road before I thought to check. I have never had to ask for one before at any other dealership. Please be very careful when selecting dealerships. I don’t blame the sales person for this experience. It is the dealership and their management. More
They are swindlers! BEWARE!!! They financed me double what the car was worth on a 2018 RAV4. Cars are over priced and use COVID as an excuse to charge 14% interest rate BEWARE!!! Lawrence Phillips was a fantastic salesperson. He was knowledgeable and helped us get the price to where we needed. Would purchase from them again without question. He was knowledgeable and helped us get the price to where we needed. Would purchase from them again without question. More
Lawrence Phillips made the process of buying a new car so easy. He took time to give in depth details of everything in the process. He is very knowledgeable in his field. If I could give more than 5 stars easy. He took time to give in depth details of everything in the process. He is very knowledgeable in his field. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! More
We had been customers since 2007 and had purchased 6 vehicles since then. This year we needed to purchase another one after ours got totalled. Unfortunately, we couldn't come to an agreement since they vehicles since then. This year we needed to purchase another one after ours got totalled. Unfortunately, we couldn't come to an agreement since they wanted $14,000 over MSRP. Thankfully, we found another Toyota dealership that wasn't as greedy and we purchased it and saved $14,000!!! Lesson learned and money saved! It's still a win for us! We have found us a new Toyota Dealership! More
