Hi Jasmin, Toyota Corporate sends out all information regarding recalls to the owner of the vehicle identification number involved. When speaking to you-you communicated that you had not received any information from corporate. We run our own report here in the service drive once the vin# is visually verified and that is when we found your recall. A loaner vehicle would have been an option for you instead of taking the courtesy shuttle home and on this point, we will be offering your service advisor additional instruction. We apologize for the fender bender that occurred while your vehicle was in our care and we endeavored to handle it as expeditiously as possible. We have given additional instruction on that point as well as this was the first time your advisor had experienced this particular scenario. We couldn't duplicate the head unit problem but we did perform a hard reset on your system regardless and advised you to reset your contacts. We were also unable to duplicate the cruise control issue and after test driving the vehicle found it to be operating normally. After speaking to you on the 27th, you implied that you weren't experiencing any additional problems with the vehicle but as always if either issue appears again please bring it to our attention and we will send our shop foreman out with you for a test drive as sometimes this is the best way to understand a problem. Your review was very detailed and articulate and you have presented us with some teachable moments to ensure our employees are constantly improving on how to give our customers the best care possible.
