Oil change and follow-up brake inspection No one beats the price for the synthetic oil change for my RAV-4. Additionally I wanted a follow-up brake inspection and I requested Technician David No one beats the price for the synthetic oil change for my RAV-4. Additionally I wanted a follow-up brake inspection and I requested Technician David G. He had done extensive front-end brake work due to problems with the calipers and uneven pad wear. It had been about 11,000 miles since he did the work so ample time/mileage had elapsed to allow for a good evaluation. All was quite good. I wasn’t having any issues, but I wanted them thoroughly examined. Also David discovered a nail in one of my tires. That certainly explains that slow leak! I couldn’t find the cause because it wasn’t something easy to spot. Good eye, David, I promptly had the tire repaired. I highly recommend this Technician to anyone seeking service here. He is outstanding, very knowledgeable, and quite pleasant to deal with. If management is reading take note. You would do well to treat him well. Give him good raises and promotions. Nightmare As soon as I completed signing the paperwork for the leasing agreement I was brought to a table and told their was a hole drilled into the gas tank of As soon as I completed signing the paperwork for the leasing agreement I was brought to a table and told their was a hole drilled into the gas tank of the vehicle I was purchasing, therefore I couldn't take the vehicle until it was replaced. The latter incident was the second new vehicle I purchased that had damage to it. To say the least I was not happy! The initial vehicle I purchase was also damage in the interior with scratches on the radio, chrome, and touch screen. Craig Edwards was willing to sell me the vehicle without acknowledging the damage. I was cleaning the vehicle when I noticed the damage and immediately notified the dealership. I have never had a purchasing experience even close to what I experienced at Lancaster Toyota, therefore I cannot recommend the dealership, and probably drive to Frontier Toyota in the city of Valencia for any service. Joseph, Craig's supervisor also attempted to intimidate me with his sales tactics that is why I insisted I would not do business with the dealership if he was involved with the sale. Oscar Garcia step in and was a great help along with Teresa Caso. Also, I didn't get a satisfactory explanation as to why the vehicle's I was trying to purchase was damaged, and furthermore I believe their is a saboteur, an employee that hasn't been caught yet, so why would I take my vehicle for service or buy another vehicle knowing someone could possibly strike again.
