I purchased a new Highlander from this dealer. I had a 5pm appointment with with Daniel Thomas and he met with me and was very courteous and introduced me to Bang Bui who would show me a car I would like at a price I would be happy with. I told him this would be my 4th Camry since 1988. We talked and I told him what I wanted in my new car as he asked questions to make sure we were on the same page. He brought a gray Camry out for me to drive and I was happy with it, but when we returned, I saw a Cosmic Gray Camry and knew this would be my new Camry. We negotiated a price that I was satisfied with and I can honestly say I never felt pressured in any way. Bang worked hard to assure that I was happy purchasing my Camry. He even called 2 days later to see how I was doing and did I have any questions. Wow! He reminded me that he was there for me and would continue to help me. Even if it was because I am a visual person, and just needed someone to show me how to set a radio station. I would definitely recommend Ray Brandt and Bang Bui to my friends. Oh, Daniel checked with me before I left with my new Camry to make certain I was happy with my choice and happy with Bang's service. I looked at several hybrid models and decided on the Prius largely based on its excellent history. Then I looked at two local Toyota dealerships and decided on Ray Brandt because of its more favorable Prius largely based on its excellent history. Then I looked at two local Toyota dealerships and decided on Ray Brandt because of its more favorable online reviews and the more comfortable general feeling I got from the salesman who contacted me after I had made an online inquiry. I visited the showroom and liked how bright and accessible it was, and the employees were friendly enough (the receptionist needs to make eye-contact more and slouch less, however). I met the salesman who initially contacted me, Bang Bui, who had a welcome low-key, low-pressure style and was knowledgeable. We looked at some options and I selected a vehicle that fit my requirements including a tight budget. I financed the purchase and the man who completed the paperwork, Danny (unfortunately, I did not get his last name), was thorough and helpful. I believe I got a good deal, but what prompted me to write this review is that the sales practices I saw today were refreshingly... ordinary, and I believe that should be encouraged when selling cars. The main reason I am giving this rating is because of my salesman Greg Alexander. I was treated better by the salesmen on the floor that weren't even involved with my new car purchase. (Some guy whose name I don't know ran and got me a bottled water after I had been there for four long hours....my salesman NEVER once offered to get me anything). Greg Alexander was rude, brash, and completely uninterested in customer service. Was only interested in making the deal and getting paid. I filled out an online request, filled out an online finance application, had a couple of conversations with Greg Alexander and explicitly explained to him that I didn't want to be at the dealership all day. I explained that I wanted a Camry, told him my price budget, told him all about my trade (a Corolla purchased there in 2010) and gave him all the information he needed to have a deal ready when I arrived for my appointment with him. I arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday and FIVE HOURS later he made the ultimate mistake when he tried to let me drive off the lot with a "brand new" Camry that had 200 miles on it, was a "dealer trade" from somewhere else, and clearly had an engine defect. He first claimed he never heard it, but he personally drove it off the lot to get it gassed up. How he didn't hear the engine knocking is beyond me. Then when we pointed out to Greg Alexander that the car didn't sound right and that the engine was knocking, he had the audacity to suggest that "that's how four cylinder cars sound." When we called the customer service manager out there (Richard Ray) he clearly thought something was wrong with the car and immediately told Greg Alexander to find me another Camry!!!!! To me, that was just the ultimate "I don't give a crap about my customers, I'm just here to make whatever deal I can." Thank you Richard Ray for making it right, thank you Alex (Salesman) for trying your best to help but Greg Alexander refused any help whatsoever when it was clear he was completely overwhelmed, and thank you to Jeff in the finance office for working out the deal. We were interested in the current offers for the toyota Tundra and explained we were "just looking". James took the time to explain what they had to offer and run a few what ifs. It was time for a new vehicle and my wife and I decided to go to Raybrant Toyota and test drive a new Sienna. We were acknoleged by Victor Duran and we told him what we were looking for. To be honest he matched our needs and we drove the van, the best test drive ever, we found it, this is our van. The process was nice, the price was not bad and the best thing, it did not take me all day. This is the fifth new vehicle we purchase and this was a new experience. My trade in was given a good price and you know Victor wanted our business and he show it by being proffesional. I called it a fun purchase, and best of all we have a new Sienna at my house. During the process of finding the new van a nice fellow named Fredd Mena helped out and was very helpful. To us a good deal on a vehicle is the whole experience until we drive it home. We contacted this dealership about a vehicle my wife absolutely wanted. She wanted no other vehicle. We called the manager of the internet sales team and discussed the options and to get assurance that absolutely wanted. She wanted no other vehicle. He agreed that he would not sell it and would hold it for us. I even offered to place $10,000.00 down to hold it. He said that was not necessary. I took him on his word and I received a call on Tuesday morning stating that they had sold the exact car we wanted. That ruined our day and will never do business with this dealership or anyone in the state of Louisiana. I don't trust anyone in that dealership. STAY AWAY More
