terrible customer service! I'm confused- are they doing me a favor or I'm a paying customer? My mother services her vehicle here frequently. Most of the time I bring it in for her, and I keep coming back here because of my mother, is adamant that her vehicle is serviced in a certified dealership. Hackensack is the closest to us. I'm so unpleased with the service here I decided to write this review as I wait for my vehicle. To Be honest I rather drive the 30 minutes to Englewood Cliffs than to be treated like a second class citizen here. When I've come here the valet is the only ones that treat you like a person. They even greet you with a smile!! Here's where it goes down hill; Johanna- the receptionist is the rudest one of them all, she's always upset or I don't know what's going on with her. I understand people may have a bad day, but this woman has NEVER greeted me, let alone was welcoming. We'll go back to our last service visit. The advisor wrote us up, we sat in the waiting area we decided waiting wasn't a good idea. My mother and I went up to Johannas desk and my mother asked if they had a shuttleI in Spanish. She looked at my mother and said I quote verbatim "I don't speak Spanish". I JUST witnessed her interact and order her lunch with her co-worker IN SPANISH. The audacity of this woman to decline services of making my mothers experience here a pleasant and easier one - to a PAYING customer. I am almost certain this woman was hired because she is BILINGUAL, it's ludicrous. Service advisors are on the same scale as their receptionist, they barely want to make eye contact with you, almost as if they're doing you a favor. The only time they look at you and smile is to tell you about the survey (ZEROS ACROSS THE BOARD). I will say this there's an older gentleman (an advisor) nicest one I've dealt with. More

They were able to pinpoint the problem and repair it quickly. The checkin and pick up was very smooth and professional. I would definitely recommend this dealership. More

Dealership Does Not Honor Their Coupons I received an email on my birthday that stated "15% Off Your Next Visit." I was very excited because I needed 4 new tires and I would save a good amo I received an email on my birthday that stated "15% Off Your Next Visit." I was very excited because I needed 4 new tires and I would save a good amount of money. The total came out to about $750 with labor. When I mentioned the coupon discount they said they couldn't honor the full 15%. The best they could do was 5% off the tires and $20 off the labor. I mean, this is better than nothing at all, but then why send me an email that says 15% off. I even looked through the fine print and it mentioned nothing about tires. It just said it could not be combined with other promotions. I left feeling duped and cheated on my birthday. I don't want to sound childish, but it wasn't fair. Don't send me a special discount because its my birthday and then decide you can't honor the full 15%. I'm already hesitant to bring my car for service to any Toyota service department because I always feel I end up overpaying every time. This just proves my thoughts and point. I'd rather support small business auto repair shops than keep overpaying to big corporate companies that pretend to strive to great customer service. More
Leased 2016 Toyota 4runner SR5 July19th went vehicle testing ,tried other brands of vehicles. Drove in a line & wound up here at TOYOTA OF HACKENSACK. Boy am I glad. No "stalking salesmen" , walked around lot @ vehicle styles I liked, then went inside to meet a Salesman. Met Jay Rim. He was SO AWESOME, no pressure asked about vehicle I was interested in, what was looking for ,etc. Took 4runner for test drive & checked it out for awhile in lot. No pressure, no rushing ,just let me & wife look ,touch, open stuff ,talk alone,etc. When decided to go over figures etc, gave us bottled water & made sure no suprises, gimmicks etc. Truly the best experience. Today August11th ordered hood bug shield yesterday, part was in @ 8am, went to pick it up, asked to install, service dept took us right in explained cost etc, wait time. We waited in waiting area, very comfy ,free wifi, big screen tv to watch olympics on. The service dept finished in timeframe given. The attention given to my vehicle was amazing, plastic over seats, papermats to protect carpet, had valet bring me vehicle & gave us nice cold bottled water. The little things in life is what makes me happy. This is my first TOYOTA , I will from now on have one in my driveway. Thank you for reading & I hope if you ever look for TOYOTA ,you will at least give them a visit. THEY WILL WIN YOU OVER. More

If I had seven stars, I'd give them seven. I went for service on my 2005 Toyota Corolla, but whenever I am ready for my next car, I will definitely go back to this dealer, assuming their prices are competitive. Keep up the great work!!! Saved my Ski Trip! I was on my way to go skiing at Mountain Creek, when my tire pressure was suddenly VERY low. I couldn't bring my air pressure up at the gas station, I was on my way to go skiing at Mountain Creek, when my tire pressure was suddenly VERY low. I couldn't bring my air pressure up at the gas station, and showed up to the Hackensack Toyota on a Sunday afternoon, just before they were closing. They fixed my tire, and had me on my way to my ski day in less than an hour! No new tires! Everyone was exceptionally friendly and very, very helpful. Thank you!!!!! More

I explained my issue to joe after 2 hour's he stated he didn't find a problem and he sent me on my way.. lol. U would think he would ask me to take a ride with him and explain the issue while driving the car. They adjusted my recall mats with out even a vacuum or wash.. no loaner car available either. More

When purchasing the vehicle, however, I found their sales department to be a high-pressure low-class operation with the typical "how much do you want to pay per month" sales pitch. We purchased from Prestige Toyota which was a straightforward sales operation with no low-end games. But I would not hesitate to bring the Prius back to Toyota of Hackensack. More
