Dylan Crump is THE BEST We were those annoying customers that showed up 30 minutes before closing time on a Friday night trying to narrow down what we wanted. It was cold and dark and Dylan approached us like he was just coming in to work for the day. He didn't rush us, talked to us about the specials that were going on, and let us get in a few different options. Days later, when we'd finally made a decision he helped us get the exact color and model we wanted from another dealership. Gave us a great deal without the haggling. We really feel like he had our best interest at heart. When the vehicle arrived he took the time to introduce all the safety and technological features in the car. I'd trust him with any of my friends and family for their next car purchase. More

Lack of communication left me carless for a day My husband and I have been customers of Rice going on almost a year and I truly have had no issues with the service until today. I arrived at Rice at My husband and I have been customers of Rice going on almost a year and I truly have had no issues with the service until today. I arrived at Rice at 8:30 am thinking I would beat the crowd and have my truck and car both serviced and have them for work Monday. My car was in and out and my truck had to be left behind because there was a recall on the passenger airbag. This was fine because I was told it would be ready in 2 to 2 and half hours. I received a call from my technician that our brakes were worn and if we wanted to have them fixed. I initially declined the service but after talking to my husband we decided to go ahead and get it done. I called back, spoke to someone in the service department and told them that I would like to have both the rear and front brakes replaced. I was informed that they would fix the brakes and give me a call when they were done. So I receive a call around 3, he told me my truck was ready and the price for the inspection but failed to mention anything about my brakes. So I asked my tech how much it would be for the brakes and he was confused and said to his knowledge nothing was done to my brakes. I informed him of my call and he said he wasn't told about the brakes. So my truck sat up at Rice Toyota from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm when they called and all they had to do was my inspection and handle the air bag recall. I now have to car pool with my husband, we get off at different times and do not work anywhere near each other. I had rave reviews for Rice until today, I just hate that this is the only Toyota dealership in Greensboro and if I could give them 0 stars then I certainly would. More

Paid the fee and stood in the sun for 15 Took our toyota in for a simple state inspection. Service department called and said the vehicle was ready. Paid the fee and stood in the sun for 15 minutes waiting for the employee to bring my vehicle to me. Employee appeared back in the service bay and waved to me. He didn't know my car had a manual transmission and couldn't drive it. He had to seek out another employee to bring my vehicle around. One week later while trying to renew the registration online the website said the vehicle needed to be inspected. A call to Rice to find out what was going on and they told us it did not pass inspection even though we were charged the full fee and were not notified that it had not passed. Rice also could not tell us why the vehicle didn't pass inspection. Bottom line.... large unorganized service department with a "pump 'em in 'pump 'em out get paid" mantra. More
If you want to buy a Toyota go to Modern Toyota in WINSTON. Me and my husband were buying our first car together and it was a TERRIBLE experience. Not polite, didn't even act like he cared about us or our purchase. So much I could say just all around a terrible experience. Don't waste your time going there, just go to Winston to Modern Toyota. Salesman Left Me Hanging I came into this dealership about a month ago to purchase a new CHR, but once I mentioned to the salesman that I was a bit upside down in my current l I came into this dealership about a month ago to purchase a new CHR, but once I mentioned to the salesman that I was a bit upside down in my current loan, he disappeared. I thought he was going to discuss the matter with a manager, and after waiting more than enough time for him to return, I got up to see where he was. He was working another deal with another customer, and never came back to tell me anything. I buy cars quite often to fix up for car shows and resell later, so that is why sometimes I owe more on a car than it is worth, but I don't think anyone should be left unattended without a viable explanation. If this is your interpretation of the motto, "We Treat You Right," then I am appalled that your business is in the Piedmont of NC! I will NEVER come back to this dealership and will tell others the same thing!!! More
BEWARE!! DO NOT GO TO RICE TOYOTA!!! BEWARE!! DO NOT GO TO RICE TOYOTA!! Let me start out by saying that I have been a loyal customer of Rice Toyota for 10 years. I bought my current car BEWARE!! DO NOT GO TO RICE TOYOTA!! Let me start out by saying that I have been a loyal customer of Rice Toyota for 10 years. I bought my current car there 10 years ago and have spent a lot of money over the years with general maintenance and such. That being said, about a month ago I took my car in for a routine oil change/tire rotation and discovered, after I left, that my car key had a crack down the middle and the back of the key fell off when trying to start the car. I went back to the service department immediately and showed them my key. I was very nice and calm and explained that my key was not broken when I brought it in earlier, so it had to have broken while here. The guy that helped me was very nice and went to talk to the technician that worked on my car to see what happened. To make a very long story short, the technician denied breaking my key and said it was fine when he had it. The guy helping me told me that he would order me a new key and have the service manager call me the next day, since it was Sunday. I thanked him and left thinking everything was fine and they were going to replace my key no charge. Boy was I wrong!!! First off, the service manager did not call me back the next day. In fact, he didn't call me at all. I had to call him 3 days later and demand to speak with him. When he did finally call me back he didn't apologize for the inconvenience or trouble this caused me. He didn't even ask me what happened or asked my side of the story. He was very rude and immediately started quoting me a price for the new key they had ordered, which was over $200. I interrupted him and told him that I wasn't paying for the key b/c they broke it while I was there getting my oil changed. He then proceeded to say that he talked to the technician, that worked on my car, and he said my key was already broken when he got it. Now if you remember, from my earlier statement, the technician said the key was not broken when he worked on my car. Now his story has changed and it was broken. Obviously someone is lying and it's not me!!!! The following week I called EVERY DAY asking to speak with Mary Rice, the GM, to complain about the treatment I received. To this day she has not returned ANY of my calls and I am left with a broken key that I have to pay over $200 to replace. I have never in my life received such poor service!!! I will obviously never go back to Rice Toyota and will make sure that none of my family members or friends do either. Mary Rice and her staff should be ashamed of their actions!!!! They obviously do not care about loyalty or customer service. All they had to do was replace my key, THAT THEY BROKE, and it would've been all good. Instead they have chosen to ignore me and all my calls and have lost a customer of many years over a stupid key. You be the judge!!! More

Replaced Lug lock with a defective worn lock. Took Lexus in for tire rotation. Did not check wheel kit end if service. Months later went to buy new tires and was told lock would not work. Called service department. at Rice gave information and was told someone would call me. Never received call back so disappointed. Advice Check behind service providers. More
