My husband went to Toyota of Des Moines to get our highlander fixed. Ian acted like we didn't get a warranty and we ended up having to contact our sales person (Shane) while he was on off work for the highlander fixed. When Shane figured it out and called Ian, we did end up getting a refund for what was already charged. Then when my husband went to Toyota of Des Moines to get it fixed (part had to be ordered) ian was still not as friendly and still questioned if there was a warranty. More

Communication was really lacking - after signing the check-in waiver I sat and waited for 45 minutes with zero updates on my car. When I stopped Emily to ask a she was walking by me, she started that it usually takes around an hour (I had no idea it would be this long and wasn't told what to expect when I arrived). She said she'd check & let me know, but I heard nothing, so 15 minutes later I went looking for info & was told by the guy in the glass office area to go ask Emily. I found her out in the arrival area and she said she'd come get me when my car was ready. As soon as I got back to waiting area I Finally got my inspection video and the Emily came back for me. Not sure why an oil change/ tire rotation would take over an hour, but it sure would have been a lot less frustrating if someone had forewarned me or updated me or just not ignored me. I expect to be treated better than this by a dealership... next time I need service I'll probably go somewhere quicker, cheaper, & closer to home More
