I had a flat tire and ended up buying new tires. They got it done without an appointment. Staff were polite. As always my trip to DesMoines Toyota for my service was great. I got in and out in a very short time. They informed me how and what was going on while they was serving my 4 runner . My service advisor, was condescending and rude to me. I had my car towed in for service because one of the brand new tires had gone flat. The tow truck operator pumped up the tire and explained the situa I had my car towed in for service because one of the brand new tires had gone flat. The tow truck operator pumped up the tire and explained the situation to the service advisor. Minutes after my appointment was done, I called back and asked if service had checked my tire because something was still wrong. The advisor yelled, "MAAM! Your tire is FINE!" I told him the tire light was still on, and he said he would fix that for $350. I drove the car to Fort Dodge, where the tire went completely flat. Luckily, I had family follow me back to Des Moines where Tires Plus switched out the new tire for a new replacement. The tire pressure light is no longer on. I used to really depend on Toyota for service. My previous Toyota service advisors were all kind and never tried to skip over any service request. I feel this advisor believed he could push me around because I am a woman. He would have me pay for additional service if I wanted to argue with him. A phone operator told told me my advisor was Terry, but that may have been the service tech, since the advisor I dealt with looked like Justin. Please check this out and register my complaint. More
