From day one,three years ago when I first entered into a lease agreement with my customer rep,Scott Hampe,I have had the most wonderful relationship with all the staff at Toyota of Des Moines.I love their " lease agreement with my customer rep,Scott Hampe,I have had the most wonderful relationship with all the staff at Toyota of Des Moines.I love their "Greetings and Salutations" from the girls who greet you at the door,to the service techs, every employee I see as I walk through the building makes eye contact with me and smiles and says "Hello" Courteous,professional,competent and personable are just a few of the words I would use to describe the staff. I will be forever grateful for you all,Scott,and Carla especially,you made the transition so very smooth and uncomplicated from my Corolla to the Scion TC. I will share with all my friends and family my wonderful relationship with this dealership. P.S. Rob Hutt was great to work with! He was very informative and worked with us on what we felt comfortable using for our budget. He was a no-pressure salesman which is what helped make our decision to buy fro and worked with us on what we felt comfortable using for our budget. The overall experience with purchasing a vehicle was great. The mishaps were not so great. I was told I had to write a check to hold the vehicle I wanted to finance. I was using the Toyota incentives, rebates and also a trade for my down payment. The check I wrote was to be given back to me it wasn't. The check was not to be cashed, I spoke with Ryan and he gave the check to Steve with the instructions to shred it. It did not get shredded it got cashed. Not happy about this at all. Second issue, there was an error in the final paper work, so I had to drive back to the dealership three days later to sign the corrected papers. Ok, I can handle this. Third issue, we bought the brand new vehicle and it had a deep scratch on the bumper. Was told service would get a hold of us two days from the day we bought this vehicle to set up a time to come in and have the bumper replaced. Well here we sit four days later and still nothing from the service department. Did speak with Ryan today about the check issue and he states, on Monday they will be sending me a check out for the amount of the check I had wrote. He also said he will get with service department to find out what is going on with the bumper issue. Honestly, right now I am not a pleased Toyota customer. These issues should not be happening in my book. More
Steve gave us what we asked for with enthusiasm/speed at a fair price. Roger/Steve saw that car was fixed right. Both of these men did exactly what they said they would do. We came to the dealership to have our Venza serviced and while we were waiting on it looked at the new cars. We had been considering buying a new vehicle for about four months. We received no high pressur while we were waiting on it looked at the new cars. We had been considering buying a new vehicle for about four months. We received no high pressure sales pitch but were allowed to roam and look until we seen a vehicle we were interested in and then we were approached and we requested to talk with Ken Bright. We have purchased several Toyota's through him and have always found him to be very knowledgeable about the product, price, availability, etc. He is extremely friendly & having known our family for several years greets us by name. We were able to purchase the vehicle at a price we could afford and obtained a fair price for the vehicle we traded it for within a minimum of time. I thought we would have to wait to get the new car till another day because we wanted it rust proofed but they were able to have the car serviced and ready in a couple of hours while we ate and ran some errands. The paperwork involved was minimal and the financial official was also very friendly and helpful. He explained all the details about interest, insurance etc. that we needed to be aware of and let us make free and informed decisions regarding the sale. We were given a long detailed explanation with hands on experience of the features of the new car were buying and any and all questions were answered. We were invited to return or call at any time that we had further questions about it. All in all the dealership went above and beyond to make our buying experience as easy and satisfying as possible. The service is quick, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend them to others. More
