Steve put up with about a 1,000 emails from me when we purchased our first Prius in 2011 and he never hesitated to get right back to me when I kept changing my mind. I was trying to convince my wife that trading in a 4-wheel drive Suburban for a Prius was a good idea and I had to request multiple iterations of a Prius 3 package so she would buy into my idea that giving up a massive 4-wheel drive vehicle was smart despite Midwest winters. Long story short, because Steve was always on top of my requests, we purchased a 2011 Prius 3 and enjoyed it for two years until I got an email about specials on the 2013 models. A couple of weeks earlier, I had been admiring a car that looked like a Prius at our local convenience store parking lot when the owners, an older couple, asked me if I knew what it was. I asked if it was a Prius (they could see our Prius 3 nearby) and they said, "Yes", and that it was their third Prius but that this one was a V. The gentleman gave me a grand tour of the brand new vehicle and he and his wife said how much they loved it. I was immediately struck by the extra room (I'm 6-5) and additional cargo space (one drawback of the 3). After seeing the email about Toyota of Des Moines specials, we made an appointment with Steve to look at the Prius V and decided on the spot to make an upgrade. The paperwork was run very quickly so we could get an idea of our new payment and how we could trade in the 3 ASAP. The exceptional service, the speed at which it was delivered and the ease of the purchase made our second purchase from Steve and Toyota of Des Moines an excellent experience. I have told many friends about Steve since our first purchase and have done so again since our second. We will look him up once we decide to purchase again. More

I was in the facility four different days looking at and selecting my new car. On every visit, the atmosphere was very organized, friendly, clean and helpful. The only reason I considered Toyota was my friend, Ron Short, service manager for Toyota of Des Moines. I felt an obligation to at least call Ron and check out their line of cars. He had Scott Hampe call me. I have been in insurance sales for over 50 years. Scott Hampa is a first class salesman. He listens and hears what I say. He did a first class job of satisfying my requests and concerns. I was considering two other brands of cars but the final decision was not difficult. Scott had earned the sale. Interesting buying a car online without a test drive! But was assured if not happy, then no deal. Only problem was the amount of the deposit. I have purchased over 8 vehicles in the past and never received received the well-rounded customer service I received at Toyota of Des years of life! Shane Siegle was very knowledgeable and very helpful with finding the Toyota RAV 4 XLE White AWD of my choice. We communicated via e-mail prior, which worked out great. I did not feel rushed or made to feel like an idiot with my 10,000 questions. Shane is a very nice young man and a pleasure to work with. Sir Larry Middleton did a good job going over the paperwork in an efficient manner. And providing a decent trade-in amount on my 2008 Chevy Trailblazer. Mr. Bill Klomstad did an outstanding job of going over each area of my new vehicle with me. No one has ever, ever done that before when I purchased vehicles. Again, this was the best car buying experience in my life! Shane, Larry, and Bill did an overall fantastic job. It was a very smooth process. Wasn't rushed nor was I pressured into anything. Thank you, all, I really appreciated it. I would recommend Toyota of Des Moines to everyone!
