I had a great experience with Toyota of DM. I was searching for my very first vehicle that would be in my name, and I was looking for a very specific type of vehicle with a fixed budget. I just happe searching for my very first vehicle that would be in my name, and I was looking for a very specific type of vehicle with a fixed budget. I just happened to stop by Toyota of DM to look at a vehicle that I saw online that I was interested in. Unfortunately the vehicle was gone by the time I got there, but Brandon (who assisted me) was very friendly and made every effort to look for a car that fit what I was looking for. I wasn't able to find anything that day but I got his card before I left. About a week later my uncle came down to help look for a car with me. We stopped at a few other dealers but did not feel comfortable with some of the dealers we spoke with. I decided to stop back by Toyota of DM and luckily for me, Brandon was working that day. He remembered me & remembered what I was looking for last time I was around. He showed me two SUVs that fit into what I was looking for and I really liked one of them that had just came in earlier that day, a used Toyota RAV4. Brandon was willing to work with us on the price and getting a few other details worked out, which really impressed my uncle and I. I picked up the RAV4 two days later and it was clean and in great condition. Toyota of DM has been a great dealership! About two days later I had an issue with a fuse, cruise control, and they even gave me new windshield wipers and they were willing to fix that at no cost to me since I had just purchased the car. That was when I knew that this was a great dealership that really made an effort to make sure that its customers were pleased with each purchase and would stand behind the quality of their service. I have had no problems with my RAV4 since then as they really did take care of everything for me. When it is time for me to get a new vehicle, I will definitely go back to Toyota of DM and I have already boasted about the service I received to my friends. More
Working with Steve Henigan and Joe Myers was a great over all experience. They let me take the vehicle for a lengthy test drive, were very informative about the vehicle and purchasing options, etc. Will reco all experience. I really enjoyed working with Becky and my check-out experience was great, too (I can't remember his name, though). However, my overall experience has left me with a bad taste due to the fact I felt co experience was great, too (I can't remember his name, though). However, my overall experience has left me with a bad taste due to the fact I felt coerced into agreeing to purchase the GAP insurance from Larry. When he approached the subject he said that I really needed it, that almost everyone gets it because if anything were to happen to the car I may be stuck still owing money on it if it were totaled. Since he felt so strongly that I should get it he had already included it on the paperwork and in the total cost - I hesitated, I didn't want it, but I felt as if it was something I needed to do - he instilled a fear factor in me that I felt I couldn't deny. When I got home I e-mailed my State Farm Insurance agent. I heard back from her the next morning and she told me that I didn't need it. I called Larry and he mailed me the cancelation form. I filled it out and brought it with me when I came to pick up my car the next week (I was having leather seats installed so I couldn't take the car with me that night). I dropped off the paperwork and was told that I was still going to pay the extra monthly expense and they would just elminate my last payment. That is not acceptable to me. One reason I went with the Corolla was to keep my monthly payments low - now there is an extra $10 per month I have to pay for a service I don't want or need. Anyway, I would still recommend your dealership to a friend, but I would caution them on the GAP Insurance. A reply back would be appreciated. More

Three years ago we stopped at Toyota of Des Moines looking for a new car. Ryan MClanahan met us and shared his knowledge about the Toyota's.
