Was very easy. Walked in, asked to drive Rav after checking into the Honda CRV. Shane was quick to accomodate without pause and without a pushy, in-your-face, pressuring lecture. Actually, acknowledged Honda as a worthy competitor and nicely pointed out the differences. Noticed nicer ride and noise level. Told Shane I had to get my hubby in to drive. Took about two weeks. Shane called and left a very nice, non-intimidating inquiry to see if we were still interested. He understood our busy schedule and said just ask for him, and told us his hours for the week. I got hubby to drive it. Shane was ready to deal but respected our need to think about it. We were at the end of the lease deal in October so felt pressure from that, and Shane recommended starting paperwork so IF we decided we would not miss lease deal. Matt the manager closed with us and it was all business and efficiency which I like. He explained completely and thoroughly what the lease fee covered, about gap insurance, a new windshield protection, and what would happen after with liscences and insurance. After an orientation with my car in the garage by I'm not sure who, Shane came out to see if we had any questions and to make sure we were satisfied. I research things thoroughly, and my husband compared many cars on Consumer Rating websites. I hated giving up my awesome-mileage-per-gallon, unreal interior room Honda Fit but we are very happy with our decision. My hectic, roadrage driving has chilled because I am so layed-back comfortable and feel "above" the rat race now:) John likes it so much he wants one too, but I still think we need a hybrid (great mileage) to balance out our driving needs. Next year we will definitely look at a Toyota first because of the nice customer approach we received and (I am guessing) the potential good mechanical service which I hope I will see rarely. More
I feel that the service we received and the knowledge of the sales person was very good. I just feel that I did not get the price out of my trade in vehicle that I should have had. All of the different book values I pulled up on the internet gave me a trade in value of $1,000.00 to $2,000.00 higher than what you gave me for the vehicle I traded in. My initial intent when I came to Toyota of DSM was to look at a used car that I had seen on the web site. We had a great experience with the used car department. They didn't initially have the car we were looking for, but found the car car we wanted from another dealer and then cut the cost way down for us to They didn't initially have the car we were looking for, but found the car car we wanted from another dealer and then cut the cost way down for us to afford it. Rather then making us pay more out of pocket like the other dealership. I really appreciated Roger's approach by not pushing a car on us that he knew we would not like. He was patient and listened to what we wanted, rather then just trying to make a sale. You really are a great dealership and thank you for working so well with us. More

I appreciate that before I even arrived Travis made sure I had all my questions answered. I shopped online, and had a number of questions we exchanged via email. Travis was patient, clear, professional, and made me feel like serving me was his number one experience. Matt also made sure everything was in place before I arrived. He worked with me to set up a time, and was flexible to my schedule. He took the time to walk through all the details, even though I know he was very busy..and I'm sure already had a long day. Terrific service. The car was waiting inside, where we received an excellent briefing on the features of the car. Excellent job here as well. Very professional staff! More
I set the bar high for a new vehicile with what I wanted and have been working with Steve to hit all the marks and Steve worked really well with me and answered all my questions. I realize nothing is for free and I knew what I wanted and the invoice pricing and felt what I was getting was a fair price overall. I have received exactly what I wanted. This new vehicle is used with only 2300 miles but very close to new. I only wished the new car free oil changes special that was offered came with this purchase but I understand that I purchased a used certified vehicle. Steve is the best in his field and I will be back for years to comes and will recommend Toyota of DesMoines to others. More

I was very unhappy with the vehicle and it had begun to have numerous mechanical issues but had fallen jus purchased through toyota of des moines.... Roger and joe worked with me relentlessly and I was in a newer vehicle in two days.... They made it possible for me to get the best possible trade in value and made me feel that they were genuinely interested in my happiness and not just working towards a commission...
