I had a very good experience at Toyota of Des Moines. My salesperson, John Lillig was very helpful without being pushy. He was able to get all my questions answered and did alot of extra for me. My wife and I had been looking for a used SUV for over a month. We priced and test drove several and decided that we wanted a Chevy Traverse. I live in Northwest Iowa. I decided to use Toyota of Des Moines because my daughter is going to school in Ames this fall and I wanted her to be close to a dealer. At this time, I did not know there was a Toyota dealer in Ames, but I am happy with the choice we made with Toyota of Des Moines! In July 2011, there was a shortage of Prius' on the Toyota lots. When I called Toyota of Des Moines, I spoke with Conner. I told Conner our needs, how we will finance and exactly what we wanted. Conner was knowledgeable and placed an order for the Prius over the phone. Conner advised we didn't have to come all the way to Des Moines to place the order. I admit I thought twice about this, but was assured it would be ordered. I called to check if it was ordered a few days a later. Conner did what he said he would do. The car was being shipped from Japan and would take several weeks. Throughout the weeks of waiting, Conner called periodically to inform me of the status of the car, where it was in shipping, etc. I will not we called often and if Conner wasn't available, someone else would tell us the status of shippping. When the car arrived, Conner booked a time for us to pick it up. On our arrival, Conner greeted us and showed my daughter her new car. Of course any teenage girl is going to cry upon seeing the beauty of her first car. My family decided the color of red should be named Cyclone Red. (Not sure if Toyota would agree!) On the way home, I thought we should write a note of thanks to Conner. He didn't have to order the Prius without meeting us first. I am late with the thank you and we have been grateful for your service. Thanks Conner for all your help! More

Dan has outstanding customer service. He puts you at ease and does not pressure you. When my last car died, he picked me up at work to do the test drive--Dan definitely goes out of his way to take care ease and does not pressure you. I would recommend Dan to anybody wanting to purchase a car. He was on top of the prices, the features, and even helped me qualify for some extra incentives that most dealers wouldn't have taken the time to help a customer with (the Toyota ShareAthon gave me an extra $1000 to spend). In all, I would wish for everyone to have the new car buying experience I had. More

I contacted Steve via the internet. He responded to me very quickly with all the forms I needed to get into a new vehicle. When visiting the dealer, Steve was attentive and and accommodating. Once the vehicle was purchased the dealership spent about 30 minutes running through the amenities on the vehicle to ensure I knew how to operate them. More
