Pressure free and fast I was just browsing when I stopped by Toyota of Des Moines, however Kurt took me on a few test drives and I decided to go ahead and buy myself a 2017 I was just browsing when I stopped by Toyota of Des Moines, however Kurt took me on a few test drives and I decided to go ahead and buy myself a 2017 Toyota Camry. They employ common scam tactics! BEWARE! Purchased a Sequoia in July 2017 and this was hands down the absolute worst vehicle buying experience we've ever had. The salesman and finance mgr messed up on our paperwork (in their favor), BOTH admitted to it, and then they refused to answer our questions regarding the issue. We've contacted JP Phillips, the GM via email and phone calls. He ignores our emails and the receptionists tell us "he's in a meeting" every single time we call. Horrible communication, scammy tactics, and appalling customer service. So much for service after the sale... Drive to Ames if you're buying a Toyota. Avoid this place at all costs. More

I discovered after my recent purchase that they were r Please be very careful when purchasing a vehicle from this dealership and financing with them. I discovered after my recent purchase that they were running my credit every time I looked at a vehicle because they had my information on file from a prior purchase. I did not give them permission to do so and I feel they violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Chad in the credit department also failed to include my wife on any of the "applications" which is an issue because all our debts are held jointly. Thanks to his mistake I was able to discover what the dealership was doing with my information without my permission. He was running an individual credit application with the same companies over and over again. Aside from my credit being hurt, the worst part is I have left messages for the GM, JP Phillips, but do not get any return phone calls. More
