This is my second new vehicle purchase from Toyota of Des Moines this year. I was involved in a motor vehcile crash 5 months after purchasing my new car. The Camry's safety features were impressive. I was very impressed with the service I received from Steve Henigan. Steve Henigan provided prompt responses before and after I purchased the vehicles. He provided the answers to my questions and competive pricing. When I purchased my first vehicle, I shopped online. I contacted 3 Toyota dealerships in the surrounding area and Steve from Toyota of Des Moines was the only person who responded. Steve found the exact features in the car I was looking for and gave me the best price right up front. With my second purchase I told him what I was looking for and he found it again. I have to admit we were leery to go to Toyota of Des Moines because of the bad reputation in the past. I do have a Toyota Rav 4 I purchased in Cedar Falls 8 years ago and I have it serviced in Des Moin Moines because of the bad reputation in the past. I do have a Toyota Rav 4 I purchased in Cedar Falls 8 years ago and I have it serviced in Des Moines and that service is excellent so... I went online and did my homework, then sent TOD and another dealership info about the trade in we had and the offer I was giving them on the FJ we wanted. I didn't receive a call which is exactly what I wanted —didn't hear back right away and then received a follow-up email from our salesman asking if i had received his message. I hadn't but he re-sent it immediately. I don't fault him for the way his email was working. He didn't have to ask me any questions and in the email had written out exactly what I was wanting for trade and asking price just as my online information had said. He also wrote out exactly what the specs and extras the FJ had so we had it all in writing. He was well informed which I truly appreciate. The other dealer called me and from what I could tell, hadn't taken the time to read the information I sent him as I had to tell him all over again what I was wanting etc. that bothered me. I had already taken the time to fill it out, why couldn't he take the time to read it? The fact that he took the time to read and respond to me made it so easy and fast. All we had to do was get financing approved and go from there. He also offered to us to put down only $200 to make sure we had first choice on the FJ and if for some reason we changed our minds it was fully refundable. That was very nice to know. The only issue, and again, it was NOT our sales guys fault was that he was told the FJ was going to be into their lot in a certain time frame and it didn't come in four about 5 days. He kept me informed and answered any question I asked him. Once it came in he immediately let me know. We set up a time that afternoon and came in. He let us test drive it alone while they checked out our trade-in. We came back and he stayed exactly at the price for the trade-in he emailed me and the price we had agreed on for the FJ. We did spend a bit more time regarding financing, but that was good because we were able to get us a lower finance rate then we originally thought. We were then able to add on some extras which was really great. The ONLY thing I am wondering about is that when we went to sign our finance papers we were shown the grades of warranty coverage on the car where you can pay more for better mechanical coverage etc. After we left I was thinking that don't most cars already have a certain mile and or year base coverage? I just wish perhaps he had mentioned well this is what the car COMES WITH AS IS and these are some options for you. We thought we had to buy one. More

Overall, I have been very pleased, and this is reflected in my 5 ratings across the board. I will recommend Toyota of Des Moines to others. I chose it over my local Toyota dealship because I got a better in my 5 ratings across the board. I will recommend Toyota of Des Moines to others. I have a couple small issues with the overall experience in picking up the car, but they are not important enough to lower any of my ratings. More
