AVOID this dealership! ! They sold me a DAMAGED VEHICLE with an OPEN RECALL!!! The tire pressure sensor went on 2 days after I received my car. The first time I took it in, ! They sold me a DAMAGED VEHICLE with an OPEN RECALL!!! The tire pressure sensor went on 2 days after I received my car. The first time I took it in, they told me the sensor was defective. A week later, the sensor came on again. This time I learn the wheel was damaged and that is why the tire was leaking air! It just cost me $760 to REPLACE the wheel and another $250 to replace the fender liner!! This explains why the car came with mismatched tires!! The previous owner had a blowout and damaged the wheel and fender liner! This was not disclosed on the CarFax report either. This car should have NEVER passed inspection. They also gave me only 1 key so I had to pay ANOTHER $225 for a second key. Now I am out over $1000 after already spending over $30,000 for the car and they have done NOTHING to make it right, not to mention the COUNTLESS hours I have spent taking my car in to fix these problems. Run far and fast from this place. They are DISHONEST, UNETHICAL, and do NOT even fix up cars enough to make them safe before selling them. AVOID!! More
I went to Toyota of Dallas to look for a Tacoma for myself. I ended up purchasing one but the sales person there told me they would deliver me my vehicle the next day because they needed to detail clea myself. I ended up purchasing one but the sales person there told me they would deliver me my vehicle the next day because they needed to detail clean the truck. I thought that was nice of them to do that. When I got into the truck and started driving I noticed the blind monitoring system wasn't working. Nor was the backup monitoring system. I contacted the dealership about this issue and that's when my issues with them started.... This is a safety issue that needs to be fixed. I go to the service department to try and get a resolution from them. I ended up leaving my truck with the service department and they gave me a rental since I needed to get back to work. The next day they contacted me about the issue. They claimed I was involved in a rear end accident (which was a lie) then they proceeded to tell me that I was responsible for the damage and to fix the monitoring system. I told them there was no way and that my truck was damaged while they had it. The salesman Manny verified what I was saying. Then they're service advisor started threatening me and my mother after he told me he was done for the day and pretty much told me that I was fired as a customer for something they did. I've tried to reach out to someone in management but I've gotten nowhere. Come to find out before they sold me the vehicle in the car history report it stated that the blind monitoring system was malfunctioning. So instead of fixing it they just sold it to me without addressing the problem. The head internet sales guy ended up helping me get the blind monitoring system fixed and a wheel alignment for my truck. I thought that was the end of my troubles even though the rude service advisor never apologized to me... I went into the dealership yesterday to get my truck serviced because it was due for an oil change. I got a bill for a recommended repair of $3400. I am like how?!? This is the first time I brought my truck in for maintenance! They claimed I needed a wheel alignment due to ball joint failing on my car. I am like how do I already need to fix something like that when I haven't even driven my truck for 5,000 miles. I then took my truck to Toyota of Grapevine to get another opinion on it. They pretty much said Toyota of Dallas knew this was an issue since (according to the maintenance history report) they did a wheel alignment in November 2021 and in February 2022. I went back to Toyota of Dallas and told them what I just found out and they said they will not fix anything on the truck and my options were to sell THEM the truck or use it as a trade in. They would get more money from me meanwhile I would have to start the process all over again to get a vehicle. I just wanted them to make it right. They should have never put that truck on the lot without doing a thorough inspection. They care more about making a sale then about the safety of their customers. I will never go back to them again and I will make sure everyone knows what they did to me! More
