Price tease with Alejandra and Shelby. The posted price is nowhere close to the real price. They raised the online price by $1000 within 4 hours after initial contact. There is at least $2000 of additional dealer add-ons. Made offer at original price + full add-ons + TTL, and was rejected as $6000 under market. That's a pretty big delta. More
I purchased my vehicle in January and still do NOT have my registration papers or license plate. I am on my second temp tags and they expire in 4 days without anyone from the dealership contacting me back. my registration papers or license plate. I am on my second temp tags and they expire in 4 days without anyone from the dealership contacting me back. The reason you ask? They sold this vehicle to me without a title after lying saying they had one. This isn’t all. In my paperwork they wrote to owe me a second key that I had to harass them for 1.5 months. The manager told me while I was asking where it was that he didn’t have to give it to me that he had a month to get it to me and after that it was null and void. Who would want to do business with a place like this?? RUN!!!! More
Nothing but bad experience here. Scammers charged me 1000 to buy the vehicle i had a lease on in the name of documentation and other fees. Scammers charged me 1000 to buy the vehicle i had a lease on in the name of documentation and other fees. More
Bait and Switch Dealer The sales manager, Benjamin Wilhite, hinted we should come early before the weekend for the rare car. I verified the price, VIN, markup, and if there were any extra fees over th Wilhite, hinted we should come early before the weekend for the rare car. I verified the price, VIN, markup, and if there were any extra fees over the phone. Everything matched, and there was no markup or dealer fees. When we arrived during rush hour, the salesman, Tijan, told us the car had already been reserved long ago. He then tried to sell other vehicles instead—no apologies, acting just like his daily routine. After he found out his strategies were not working, he had another guy come over to show the inventory map. During the conversation, the second guy accidentally said they charged an extra $2500 for this SUV. While we were dealership, lies after lies, nothing but greedy crooks. 5 days later, this SUV still marks available. They are so used to do this every day. Save your time and money and go to other dealers first. Your time and money are much better spent than dealing with a swamp full of crooks. More

This is my second purchase from Toyota of Dallas. In my research, they tend to have the better inventory selection. My first purchase was in 2016 and it was a decent experience. Nothing amazing a In my research, they tend to have the better inventory selection. My first purchase was in 2016 and it was a decent experience. Nothing amazing and nothing bad. Fast forward to 2023 (November). Once again a decent experience. Sales team wasn’t pushy or over bearing. Negotiations were pretty simple and straightforward. That being said, I very much dislike dealerships that add on crap as a dealer added package. I don’t care about some crap paint protection “seal”. I rarely need a roof rack. I’m ok with door edge guards, IF they are the manufacturer ones. The ones that were put on are already falling off at 1.5 months. Finally, most of the vehicles I have purchased with tinted windows had certificates for their warranty. I did not and I do not believe that the tint are ceramic tints as proclaimed. Market adjustments … it’s been two years after the pandemic and trying to justify a $8,000 market adjustment is a little bit shady in my opinion. Luckily, the dealership already took away that adjustment on their first price presentation. My final “negative” experience … I tend to change my oil just shortly after my 500 mile break in period. So roughly after a month, I brought my car in to change my oil. While waiting, I had walked to the sales area to check if my tags and registration came in. The receptionist was too busy on her personal phone to realize I was standing there, or she just didn’t care. I even cleared my throat to get her attention. Finally she looked up, with an annoyed expression. I asked by chance if my plates and tags were available. To which she responded, if you didn’t get a green postcard, then it’s not available. I just walked away not wanting to waste any energy on that. With three days left on my temp rags, I went back to the dealership. I had no green postcard nor any other communication. The receptionist looks me up by my phone number. She looks baffled that two cars came up … proceeds to ask if I’m looking for tags on a 2016 or 2024. I tell her the 2024. With an annoyed expression she tells me that someone called about two weeks after I bought my car to inform me that my tags came in. If I had such a voicemail, I wouldn’t be asking if my tags came in. Duh. Overall, I like the dealership. They are decent with some of the things that people dislike about dealerships. I’ll probably do business again with them. I’ll still recommend them to friends, but with disclaimers. More
Toyota of Dallas did not perform my state inspection correctly, so my registration was denied by the state. When I called to get a refund for this service, they acknowledged their error and claimed I ha correctly, so my registration was denied by the state. When I called to get a refund for this service, they acknowledged their error and claimed I had to come to the dealership to get a refund. I had to be physically present for a refund? When I told them I am unable to come to the dealership because of my work hours, they told me there was nothing else they could do and I was basically out of luck. Now I have to go somewhere else to get my car inspected again and pay for it again. I have spent over $1500 for basic services over the last year at Toyota of Dallas but now I do not plan to ever go back. More
