THERE ARE MANY OTHER TOYOTA DEALERSHIPS IN DFW. ..PICK ANY ONE BUT THIS ONE!!!! I want to shout out Alec in the service department for being the only mature adult in the building to speak with me ..PICK ANY ONE BUT THIS ONE!!!! I want to shout out Alec in the service department for being the only mature adult in the building to speak with me and take me seriously. Thanks for being a stand up guy, and understanding my concerns and working hard to help me. GET A COPY OF EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF PAPERWORK YOU SIGN. A complaint has been filed with the DMV about the sale of this vehicle. Let’s discuss the issue of my plates and registration for my car. It has been 65 days since I bought the car and I still have no plates or any idea of when I will have them. This is something that on average most customers have in 30 days according to Paco the used car sales manager. So tell me why, after 30 days, I still don’t have them. No one can tell me what is happening and apparently the dealership hasn’t actually received the title to my car so that they can transfer it to me and my lender. Paco assured me that this is normal? This isn’t my first car buying experience and I know this is not normal. I was told at one point that the dealership never even received the title from the previous owner. Not only am I not getting whole truths, the customer service I have experienced is honestly the worst I’ve ever had. The managers here will not talk to you, except for Paco who will smirk in your face the whole time. And while you are raising your concerns, other people in the used car sales department will stare you down. I have tried to reach a service manager “who was too busy to talk to me” and I have left a message for Darren, the GM, who also has not gotten back to me. Not sure if these “men” are too scared to talk to me, or if they really are just this shady of a dealership. Management here is childish and unprofessional. My view is, when someone isn’t willing to talk to me about my concerns, they know they messed up big time somewhere. More
We were in the market for a new car and my wife had called multiple Toyota dealerships in the area looking for a specific model and to determine who was willing to negotiate the dealer markup price. Sh called multiple Toyota dealerships in the area looking for a specific model and to determine who was willing to negotiate the dealer markup price. She spoke to a salesman by the name of Jesus at Toyota of Dallas and through multiple phone calls and texts were able to negotiate an agreed price. My wife was told by Jesus that the price was approved by his Manager Randy. An appointment was set for the following evening for us to go to the dealership to test drive the car and make the purchase. When we went the following day, Jesus was not available and we were assisted by Elijah, a very courteous and professional salesman. We test drove the car and were ready to purchase the vehicle based on the terms agreed upon the previous day. At that point Elijah had to bring in a Sales Manager by the name of Tommy(Jorge Juarez). That is where the experience took a negative turn. Mr. Juarez was condescending, belligerent and very unprofessional, basically accusing my wife of making up or lying about the price and terms that had been agreed upon the previous day. This is where the situation derailed, and the Sales Manager’s disrespectful and confrontational behavior only escalated the situation. At this point the New Car Director, Syed got involved and attempted to somewhat deescalate the situation but was still attempting to justify the reasons they were not honoring the price and terms that had been negotiated. After further discussion and no resolution reached, my wife and I walked out of the dealership and headed to our car. We were met at our car first by Elijah, and then by Syed, where after some more discussion, Syed finally accepted our original offer and we ended up purchasing the car we wanted. This was a very uncomfortable and contentious process that took about 3 hours when it was completely unnecessary. It could have and should have been an easy and hassle-free experience. This is the reason behind the 3-star rating and why I would not recommend this dealership to family and friends. I have to say Elijah was a pleasure to work with as well as the Finance Manager, Melina, who was pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. The New Car Director was mature and reasonable and probably would have led to a much better experience if only he had been involved and we had not engaged with the Sales Manager, Tommy Juarez. More
Since no one can bother to call me back and just leave me on hold every time i call, ill just post my review online. I took my new Corolla in for an oil change service. Within a couple days, I noticed my eng on hold every time i call, ill just post my review online. I took my new Corolla in for an oil change service. Within a couple days, I noticed my engine leaking oil. I asked the service department about it. They said in order for them to find the leak I have to pay for a diagnostic. That is fine, want to make sure my new car is okay. I take my car in at 8am with a service appointment. I sit there for 3 hours and my advisor tells me he will check and see the status. No word for another hour. I get up to ask, he said he will go and check on the status. Another hour goes by, says they finally have the car on a lift and are starting to begin to check. Starting!?!?! After 5 hours. Okay, the place is busy, I get it. I wait another 2 hours and no word. I assumed my car would have some status by this point and I have to leave for work soon. I ask if I can just take my car and come back the following day. My advisor says they need about 2 more hours to try to figure it out. So 9 hours is what they need to figure out where a more than obvious oil leak is coming from? Wow! I also had a leak in my tire that I asked to get looked at. Before I left, I asked if they managed to find anything with the tire. My advisor says, we didn't find anything wrong with the tire. He said sometimes the air is low because of the weather. Sure I totally get that but when I fill my tire, the same tire, 3 times in a week, I know that is not weather related. I let my advisor know this. He then changes the narrative and says, "oh we actually never looked at the tire". ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!?! Why would he lie to me? What does that benefit? Just be honest! So I ask, can you guys just put air in the tire so I can drive home and come back the next day? He said yes and said give them a minute and I can pick up the car in the garage. I get my car and guess what.5 No air in the tire! This advisor was the biggest joke I have ever dealt with. I decided to go to a different Toyota dealer in town for the service and they manage to find the oil leak problem in less than 2 hours. Turns out, Toyota of Dallas put the wrong type of oil filter on my Corolla and that caused the leak. Interesting that Toyota of Dallas tried breaking my car so I would come back and spend more money to get it fixed. I tried calling to speak to someone about this for a week now and end up sitting on hold. Got up to 90 minutes on hold one of the calls. I wouldn't trust bringing a hot wheel toy car to this place anymore. The shady behavior is so unacceptable and I will never ever set foot here again. More
