He began his career as a kid sweeping the floors at the dealership owned by his father and grandfather. He moved up the ranks serving as a service technician, salesperson, finance manager, and eventually as a general manager. At just 23 years of age, Ed became the youngest car dealer in the United States when he was awarded a Pontiac dealership in Blue Island, Illinois.

Toyota of Brookfield has a large service department with 50 service bays to get you in and out as quickly as possible, while not cutting any corners. We have the largest amount of Certified, Master Certified, and Master Diagnostic Technicians in the area. There is no problem we can't figure out. Our finance department is second to none. We work with a large variety of banks to give you the most options to get financing for the car of your dreams.
Employment at Toyota of Brookfield is like no other dealership. We really cultivate a certain way of dealing with our customers. We start our salespeople out with several months of training and assign them a mentor to help them get up to speed. When they do encounter a customer, they know what to do and how to get the answers to any questions they may not know. This creates an atmosphere where our customers can feel safe and not pressured to do anything they don't want to do. Because of the culture we have created here, we have many salespeople, managers, and technicians that have been with us for over 10 years, some over 30 years. We've been car shopping for a few weeks for a vehicle to replace my fiancé CRV that now has 430k miles (and is still going). He uses his vehicle for work and travels alot, so our focus was a hybrid RAV4 fo replace my fiancé CRV that now has 430k miles (and is still going). He uses his vehicle for work and travels alot, so our focus was a hybrid RAV4 for its size, fuel mileage and cargo capacity. With a cash budget of around 30k and a goal of spending less than that, we visited a few dealers and had some vehicles in our sites, and had one bad experience with a dealership in Janesville whose web price was bait for add-ons that totaled 4k more than that price, which they "discounted" $500 via a phone call after we left. We obviously passed on their offer. I'd like to add that that sale dealership also confirmed the web price being the correct one on a prior visit, before we returned to test drive the vehicle. While we were originally enroute to Aurora, IL to look at another RAV4, I suggested to my fiancé that we check out a 2019 RAV4 at Toyota of Brookfield. It had higher mileage but no record of accidents on the Carfax, and it was a one owner. Needless the say this car looked to be well cared for. It did have a small dent in the hood, but for the price it's something we can have repaired reasonably, and still consider it a good deal. We arrived at around 3:15p and worked with Kevin Rhiel. Although we kept him several hours past closing, he never uttered a complaint and seemed good with bringing home dinner to the family via carry-out. Since we were paying cash, we had to go through extra steps in bank, funds and credit verification, as well as adding the vehicle to our insurance upon purchase, which then the Geico app decided we had too many vehicles already and required a chat session with an agent. Every bit of this extended our time at the dealership, and we left with a pretty red balloon tied to the mirror of a pearlescent white RAV4 with grandpa-ready chrome accents. While they had made some "enhancements" to the vehicle like Janesville Kia did (whoops, I just outed a dealership I'll never return to), they said they were not mandatory. They also offered a great discount on an extended Toyota warranty. If I had anything to complain about, they missed during their inspection the one fog light that was out. If they were still open we would of turned around to have it fixed, but considered it an oversite as we should of tested everything. LED upgrade in the future? :-) On the way home we discovered an incredible smokehouse in Mukwonago called David Alan Alan's Smokehouse. A great treat after several hours at a dealership. I only hope Kevin's late dinner was as delicious. Also, per reviews of their service department, I will definitely consider the drive for service when needed on my own RAV4 Prime zoom-zoom. More

My husband & I took our 21yr old son to finance his 1st car. Everyone was nice and extremely helpful. Starting with Dontario that greeted us and walked us to the vehicles we wanted to see.
