Don't waste your time. Terrible service I would never recommend this dealer to any of my friends or family. I own a 2006 Tundra, and got a recall notice in the mail about an airbag inflator that needed to be replaced free of charge at any authorized dealership. I made the mistake of choosing Bristol... I call and set up the appointment and I am told I will get a call when the inflator is in and ready to be installed (was told it should be 2 weeks) 3 weeks later, I still hadn't gotten a call and decided to give them another week just incase the part was back ordered. I finally have to call after 4 weeks and I am told the part has been in for a week. So I run my truck up there and there is no part mysteriously. I was upset I drove all the way up here and told them to call when it really gets here. Well 2 weeks later I get a call and the part is in. Same story as before... I get there and no part. This time, I let them have it. I wasted a half tank of gas driving there and back 2 times and put more miles in my truck. The next week the part was actually in, which I was thankful for, but still mad I was given the go-around. I drive up there for the THIRD time, and it takes them 4 hours to install the part when I was told an hour at the most (there was nobody waiting for service, just me). In all, don't waste your time or money dealing with these people. They can't hold their word, and have terrible customer service. All they care about is getting your money. Go to Toyota of Kingsport instead. More
THE WORST Made an appointment to go see 3 trucks. Got there and not one of the trucks was there and the contact I was given, Ron Hatcher, wasn't there. I got Made an appointment to go see 3 trucks. I drove over an hour a half to get there. I was told all 3 were on the lot the day before. Salesman tried to show me some others that were out of price range and not that great a truck for the price. He was pushy. I was uncomfortable. Went all the way back to NC. 3 days later a woman from there called to see if I was still coming in for my appointment! I told her I had already been to the dealership and had a terrible experience and wasted 20 bucks in gas money. She apologized sincerely but they still e mail and/ or call to see when I'm coming in twice a week! I've told at least two of the representatives calling to stop. I tried unsubscribing to e mail. Nothing works! They called AND sent an e mail today. It's been 6 weeks!! Please stop, right? Got an e mail from them today, here it is: "Hello from Toyota of Bristol! I hope all is well your way! I was just thinking about you and wanted to make sure you have all your questions answered. Is there anything that I may be able to help with? When would be a good time to talk? Thank you for the opportunity to assist you Ron Hatcher Sales and Leasing Toyota of Bristol So, I had a freaking awful experience there and they won't stop calling!! It's bizarre and infuriating. These people don't deserve your business. They are clearly idiots. More

RIPOFF and POOR CUSTOMER SVC ...BURNED ME I recently took my four runner to this dealership to address some issues with stalling. They charged me 120 bucks to tighten positive battery cable te I recently took my four runner to this dealership to address some issues with stalling. They charged me 120 bucks to tighten positive battery cable terminal and said it was fixed. I made it half a block when the truck stalled again nearly causing me an accident at a busy intersection. When I took it back they kept it for a week and charged me another 400 bucks to change mass air meter. Less than a week later I had same issue, spent 100 bucks to tow the truck back for a third round. After yet another week sitting outside the garage they decide to inform me I must pay 2300 (more than book value) up front in order for them to hunt what they now called a wiring issue somewhere. I got nowhere with the service manager and a runaround from everyone else involved. Tried contacting owner to complain but never recieved a callback k after countless messages. Basically I ended up 700 in the hole and had to find another mechanic who discovered a simple vacuum leak causing the problems all along. Toyota of Bristol service showed no customer service and ripped me off for almost a grand. .....BEWARE More
