I was sold a damaged "NEW" car. Bought a "NEW" Rav4 in 2015. Tail light developed a leak. Brought in in for repair since it's covered under warranty. Service dept said the "original" Bought a "NEW" Rav4 in 2015. Tail light developed a leak. Brought in in for repair since it's covered under warranty. Service dept said the "original" part was not a factory stock part and I must have been in an accident or replaced it myself. I said that it was never in an accident and has always been serviced by the dealership. . Service manager said maybe your wife did it. He repeated that 4 times. I told him I was defrauded at the time of purchase. What else is wrong that I don't know about. Service manager said he will talk to the owner and find out what happened. He called back a few days later and denied anything happened to the car prior to my purchase of it. He said he will split the cost of the part and not charge labor to put it in. I reluctantly agreed. When the work was done they stiffed me on the price. Your ad says you use only "Genuine Toyota Parts". That's xxxxxxxx!!! More
