I went to this dealership because of a recommendation and Betsy was the sales person recommended. Initally we sat down and she explained all the questions I had and then took me for a test drive. Because I had did research on the internet and knew exactly what I wanted and did not want to settle for a car on lot Betsy then went on the internet to see if any were available and there were none so it had to be built. It took about three weeks and when the car came in Betsy spent well over three hours showing me all the functions of the computer (apps, navigation etc) and where all the switches etc were located and how to operate them. She then connected my cell phone to the blue tooth. When we were all finished she said that if I had any questions to just call her and she would be glad to help. She also took me around to show me the service department and introduce me to the service personnel. I got the impression that she was not the kind of person that was just there for just a "days pay" but that she really loved her job and had the customers concerns and well being in mind. However, the customer service was so amazing and the deal was great that we left with a new car. Thanks to Joe, the process was flawless. He’s truly a nice professional and genuinely a good person. I wish all the places, especially when you’re purchasing something pricey as a car, would give a special treatment as we had at Toyota World in Newton, NJ. Recently Susan (my wife) and I purchased a Toyota Highlander from Toyota World of Newton (TWoN). Our salesperson was Mike Yodice. Mike did an excellent job allowing us to select the car that was most appropriate for our needs. Mike was very knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the cars we chose to evaluate. His approach was low key yet informed; allowing Susan and I to make the best decision regarding the features of the car, while staying within the expressed price range. Betsy went above and beyond first to give us all of the information as well as options and then taking a portion of her own personal time to meet our needs. She is not "pushy" or inpatient, but wants you information as well as options and then taking a portion of her own personal time to meet our needs. After purchasing a vehicle from another dealer, and being very unhappy, I came to Toyota hoping that they could help me with my situation. John Mayo and staff sat with me for hours, and helped me come up w very unhappy, I came to Toyota hoping that they could help me with my situation. John Mayo and staff sat with me for hours, and helped me come up with a soulution to my bad situation. They made it possible for me to drive away with a brand new Venza!!!! I would reccomend anyone looking for a new or used car to stop by Toyota World and ask for John Mayo. He really made me feel comfortable throughout the buying process and made the decision to buy that much easier. (He even came in on his day off). We felt no sales pressure until the very last moment when the final nudge -- "this offer is for a customer who drives the car home today" -- was entirely justifiable. I received an email & phone call from Nicole in minutes after submitting my online inquiry. Most importantly, she provided a very fair price upfront via email. This was something that other dealers were not giving me. I offered to put down a deposit -she said she will hold the car, and won;t charge my card. On the day I came to close the deal, the car was already prepped. Another sales person (Lou Kosco) took over from Nicole. He, too, was very helpful and courteous. I signed the paperwork and was done in about 40 minutes. Lou even arranged for a driver to drive my new car to my home. He gave me a very good overview of the features of the car; paired my phone's Bluetooth w. the car and answered all my questions. More
