Every step of the process was a struggle, The financial guy (Jose) changed the term of the loan (from 72 months to 84 months) and didn't tell me. When i called to set up an appointment to see why it was changed the financial manager (whatever his name was) was very rude and basically called me a liar. When i would bring my car in for its service and the service department would tell me they could not change factory settings/options. The car manual states that if i would like to change these settings/options to go to the dealership and have them do it. I love the car but would definitely not buy another vehicle from this dealership. BEWARE!! More
I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family. I would advise them to speak particularly to Luis Alvarado. He is what every car salesman should be like. I purchased my first Toyota Corolla from Luis 2 weeks ago and this past weekend my husband and I purchased another and we agreed that our salesman had to be Luis. We did not want to deal with anyone else. One of the things that we truly admire about Luis is that he cares about his customers even after the deal is done and you drive off the lot with your car. He is constantly checking up on us and making sure that we are completely satisfied with our purchase. Anyone considering purchasing a car, please go to Toyota Universe and ask for Luis Alvarado, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Luis, you're the best. More

Was to drop off my car Friday night for oil change. When we arrived, we were told it would be done immediately so we would not have to come back Saturday tonlick up. I did not have my coupon with me because we arrived, we were told it would be done immediately so we would not have to come back Saturday tonlick up. I did not have my coupon with me because I was told it was a drop off for Saturday pick up. They refused to honor the coupon price because it wasn't with me. Toyota sent it to me, Toyota changed when the work would be done. It should have been honored. Next time i will stick with my local mechanic. More
Update November 16, 2012: Toyota Universe agreed to resolve the issue on September 25, 2012 by cutting a check for half the total price. I haven't received the check, and I am not incurring a charge of $95.60 for a rental car they were supposed to have direct billed to them. So I'm now paying a total of $1,031.91 for service that should have cost no more than $200. Jim Latassa (Service Manager) and Ryan Martin (Customer Service Manager) appeared to be helpful, except they never honored the resolution. Toyota makes a quality vehicle, but this dealership really tarnishes that reputation. 09/25/2012 Post: Jim was very helpful to in dealing with my issue.
