Salesman outright lied / deceptive advertising This dealership had a 2011 Honda Civic advertised on AutoTrader for a low price, so I called the dealership to see if the car was still available. I This dealership had a 2011 Honda Civic advertised on AutoTrader for a low price, so I called the dealership to see if the car was still available. I spoke with a salesman named Jose D, who confirmed the car was available, and said he would have it out front for when we got to the dealership. We arrived at the dealership and asked for Jose. We were instead passed off to another salesman, Michael G, who took us to his desk and gathered all of our information. He then took us outside to show us the car, and on the way he said he had a bit of bad news, that the car was damaged the day before, and explained that that's why the car was listed at such a low price. The drivers side front fender on the car was severely damaged. Michael also explained that there was a customer inside in the process of buying the car. I told him that the AutoTrader ad did NOT mention damage to the vehicle, and the pictures they had posted showed an undamaged vehicle. I asked why I wasn't told all of this on the phone, and Michael did not have an answer other than 'Sorry' . When I complained to the sales manager about all that had transpired, all I got was the same 'Sorry'. More
