From the beginning, Eddie was honest, fair, and easy to work with. We handled virtually everything through text messages and phone calls after deciding the vehicle I wanted. Once we agreed on the selling price, there were no surprises, no games, and no last-minute changes. When I arrived to pick up the truck, everything was exactly as discussed. There were no attempts to upsell me, no shady tactics, and no pressure to add extras I didn't want. The process was efficient, transparent, and respectful of my time. If you're shopping for a Toyota, do yourself a favor and ask for Eddie. His honesty, communication, and no-pressure approach made this the easiest vehicle purchase I've ever made. purchased a 2024 toyota RAV 4 after reaching an agreed price the sales manager agreed to not etch my windows . and not charge me the 500.00 well when the rav arrived at the dealership. and went to the fin price the sales manager agreed to not etch my windows . and not charge me the 500.00 well when the rav arrived at the dealership. and went to the finance dept. after sighing a hundred pages of god who know what . at the end the agreed price of the vehicle . was 1,000 more than agreed. finally i went through the pile of paper work i discovered the sales manager, put in a glass protection plan in the contract. which i never agreed to. when i finally got in contact with the manager. said to bad you already sighed. the contract.. such a desecetfull move . i will never trust this dealership again Toyota San luis obispo . i will never trust them with my Toyota . Just like most car dealers, just know that they are 100% out to separate you from your money. First and foremost. That’s their goal. I bought a 3-service maintenance plan that they are continuing to hawk. Nowhere on the flyer for it does it say it expires. You’re buying 3 in advance. Why would that expire? In the small print of the contract (“Read the contract, sir”), it expires within a timeframe where those with PHEV would never in a million years come in for. Absolutely absurd! I’m pleased with our RAV4 PHEV, but zero chance I ever buy from Toyota SAN Luis Obispo again! More
Horrible customer service and care. Within a year of buying my "certified preowned car" it began to have issues with the automatic doors. The doors would open by themselves while I was driving with my petrified young children in the back. When I brought my car in for service I was told no loaner cars would be given. I then set up a rental car while my vehicle was being serviced. My vehicle was fixed under warranty and a recall. I was told that my rental car should be covered so I called the Toyota Service Department back to verify that. I spoke to a man at the service department and he assured me that yes everything including the rental was covered. He advised me to drop off the rental at the dealership and the rest would be taken care of. I followed this employees directions and left. Two days later I saw charges on my card from Enterprise. Well I come to find out that my rental was not covered because the recall for my doors was "not available yet". After much debate with the incompetent Manager Nicole I have to in fact pay for the rental even though the fix was labeled under warranty and recall. I also ended up having to pay an extra two days for the rental car while it was sitting at the dealership due to the instructions I received from the service department. In total I'm looking at over 800 dollars in rental car fees. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service this dealership has. I will only go to local body shops in the future. Overpriced cars and horrible service. Go elsewhere!! More
I purchased a used Toyota Tundra from this dealership, and just one day after driving it off the lot, I noticed the fuel gauge wasn’t working properly — it gets stuck on “full” and doesn’t update until I and just one day after driving it off the lot, I noticed the fuel gauge wasn’t working properly — it gets stuck on “full” and doesn’t update until I refill the tank again. I called the dealership multiple times and was told that the sales representative Eddie would handle it. While he initially promised to check with the service department for a solution, it’s been nothing but delays and vague responses since then. It feels like they’re just dragging their feet instead of taking responsibility for an issue that showed up immediately after purchase. Very disappointed with the lack of follow-through and accountability. More

ONE STAR NO STARS deserved. .. I used to believe in Toyota, NO MORE! This dealership is unbelievably unresponsive to customer service. Completed EFI service work and discovered .. (punched a hole through the air assembly) Attempted to resolve the issue after several attempts, displaying evidence photos of before and after. It is now 11/29/23 despite indifference to "we'll get back to You," from Business Manager and three different service managers, The $421 parts remains damaged following a simple EFI service. More
