The dealership was friendly. It was very busy as we came in during a holiday. So it took a few minutes for someone to come and meet us. But once we were greeted we were treated as if we were the only ones in during a holiday. So it took a few minutes for someone to come and meet us. But once we were greeted we were treated as if we were the only ones in the show room. We went for a test drive and negotiated for a long time until we all agreed to an acceptable price. I would recommend the dealership to my friends and family. More
The experiwnce with Towne Hyundai was excellent. My salesman was Dave which was always very helpful, wasn´t pushy, and worked with me. He knew what I wanted and didn´t try to convince me to buy anythin salesman was Dave which was always very helpful, wasn´t pushy, and worked with me. He knew what I wanted and didn´t try to convince me to buy anything else. They let me take the car to my mechanic, just to see that everything was OK with it, since I was buying a used car and didn´t pressure me on buying it on the spot. After the car was bought, Dave called me up two weeks later just to make sure everything was running smoothly. I would definitely recommend Towne Hyundai to anyone. More
We found a Hyundai listed on their site that we were interested in driving. When we arrived, the rep greeted us and we learned that it was already sold. In all fairness, I should have called ahead but d interested in driving. When we arrived, the rep greeted us and we learned that it was already sold. In all fairness, I should have called ahead but did not. The reason for the low ratings was that the rep just didn't seem to care. We were car shopping with our 3 yr old daughter - the rep didn't seem to acknowledge her and seemed a bit put off when my wife asked to sit in the passenger seat while we test drove a car. The rep didn't tell us much about the car's features during the test drive and was really very quiet overall. The rep answered whatever questions we asked but did not provide additional detail like many other dealers did. Based on some of the other reviews on this site, maybe it was just an off day or too early in the morning but we left feeling rather disappointed. More
I hate car shopping but Robert did a great job at making the experience enjoyable. He never rushed me and both he and all his co-workers were friendly. I would definetly recommend him to anyone buying a Hyu the experience enjoyable. He never rushed me and both he and all his co-workers were friendly. Not happy with Trade-in amount. The way we heard it was that we were getting a $2500.00 trade for the 2004 Accent and an additional $1000.00 from the dealer. We ended getting only $500.00 for the trade. It that we were getting a $2500.00 trade for the 2004 Accent and an additional $1000.00 from the dealer. We ended getting only $500.00 for the trade. It was later explained that the $2500.00 was a total discount. This was a big suprise to us and the feeling of getting a great deal went out the window. We were offered $1500.00 at a subaru dealer and $2000.00 at a Kia dealer. So getting only $500.00 was a BIG let-down. More
The first salesman, Fred, failed to inform me that there was not a spare tire. I told this to the sales manager and he said they were on back order. That was two years ago. I called a few times and was t was not a spare tire. I told this to the sales manager and he said they were on back order. That was two years ago. I called a few times and was told the same thing. My Elantra got totaled and I bought an Accent. The spare tires were still not in. I went through Jose for the Accent and Fred for the Elantra. Once again I contacted the sales manager and he said they are still on backorder. I made a fuss because it had been soooo long that I couldn't believe it was still on backorder. He agreed to give it to me free when they came in. Next I called the service dept and they repeated that the spare tires were still on backorder. Can you believe this? I made a complaint over the phone to some 800 number and noone has contacted me. It's been 3 weeks. I brought my Accent in because the check engine light was on. They told me it has a problem that has not been diagnosed. The service dept. said that when Huyndai does not have a fix for it and he didn't know when one would be available. Huyndai charged me 19,000 for my accent when A guy I know got his for 15,900.I was way overcharged. I will never return to this dealership and have told many others just how bad they are. More
Over a three week period, we visited several different dealerships to view and test drive vehicles in which we were interested. At some, there was the pressure of a "hard sell". At others, once we said we dealerships to view and test drive vehicles in which we were interested. At some, there was the pressure of a "hard sell". At others, once we said we were just seeking information, the representative lost interest in helping us. David Smith struck a great balance between being informative, helping us consider a variety of factors, and emphasizing the advantages of the vehicles at which we were looking. He then stepped back and allowed us the time and space to make our own decision instead of trying to push us into something before we were ready. To us, that is the perfect sales rep. If your product is good enough, it will sell itself and the rep need only point out the obvious. We appreciated David's professionalism and his approach of "inform", don't "push". Frankly, David was the reason we came back to Towne and turned down offers from other dealers. More
Overall experience was good. Fred did a good job maintaining my interest up. recommend shortening the length of the customer stay. Greater than 6 hours is too long. maintaining my interest up. recommend shortening the length of the customer stay. Greater than 6 hours is too long. More
Dear Dealer Rater, My experience at Towne Hyundai was Dear Dealer Rater, My experience at Towne Hyundai was absolutely great! Before I went to this dealer I gathered as much info as I could on the m Dear Dealer Rater, My experience at Towne Hyundai was absolutely great! Before I went to this dealer I gathered as much info as I could on the make and model of the vehicle I wanted, Elantra GLS. This included invoice cost, packages, options etc. I felt I was well prepared to start bargaining. When I met Mr. Onorato he was great! He imediately put me at ease by promising he would do everything possible so I could leave with a car very happy and at a good price. I didn't want to BS around about the price, back and forth,I told him what I was prepared to pay, and, he made it happen. Mr. Onorato was patient, presice with his numbers, and reasuring. Three days later I drove the car off the lot!!! I also met with a Internet manager, I didn't write his name down, tall slight accent. He also reasured me what Fred had said. These guys were great! Towne Hyundai was very well organized with a pleasent atmosphere. When I came to finalize the paperwork and pick up the car, everything was handled nicely. I will definately recomend Mr. Onorato as well as the dealership. Further more, my hats off to Hyundai. They are truly "spot-on" with there engineering and design. Sorry Honda, time for a price drop. Sincerely, Stephen Sharrott More
