Pleasant and straightforward buying experience! As a successful Realtor, I had been looking at a Toyota Avalon to replace my 10-year-old Venza with 154,000 miles (which I am giving to my daughter an As a successful Realtor, I had been looking at a Toyota Avalon to replace my 10-year-old Venza with 154,000 miles (which I am giving to my daughter and was also bought at Town & Country) I did my research and during a service repair for my wife's 2011 Sienna (also bought at T&C) I walked over to the showroom and met Robert and started talking about Avalons. I test drove a Demo Touring, and planned out my purchase. I also test drove a Limited and a Hybrid. I decided on the Touring with the advanced safety package in Ruby Flare Pearl with a Graphite interior. Apparently this combination is very hard to find, as when we actively started looking there were 3 in the entire 5 state SET region. Through the whole process, Robert was very helpful and communicative. We talked and texted many times. We got within $500 of a selling price and I held off for a few weeks due to a surge in the real estate business. By sheer coincidence the very car I wanted was due to be shipped to T&C by April 14th, 13 days before my birthday. I called Robert about the car's arrival and kind of caught him by surprise. He pushed for the additional $500 (a finder's fee I guess) and his manager agreed and it was a deal. The car came in a few days early and Robert arranged to hold the car, let me "visit" her and place heavy duty mats in the car, and had her ready for delivery on the 17th complete with red bow and spotless detailing. We attempted to transfer my vanity plate from my Venza to the Avalon directly but I found out the next day from the DMV I needed a temp plate and then a transfer would be done after a permanent plate arrived. Thanks to Greg for his assistance with this on Robert's day off (Robert, you owe Greg a Chic-Fil-A Breakfast sandwich!). I got an amazing deal on the Avalon (one that a competitor dealer who wanted over $2600 more for the same car said was "crazy") and am very pleased with the car and the way the transaction went. I now have three Toyotas to bring to T&C for service and have been coming to the dealership since 2002. They say salesman make the most difficult customers but they recognize great service and are loyal when they see it. You have a very satisfied customer here. I'm reminded every time I start up the Avalon and hear that sporty exhaust. More
