Tony Nissan Dealership Good car buying experience. Found a good Rogue that was minimally used and just arrived, as a lease return from Maui, but it still had a good history. Cal made it available to us to see and gave us the car history and we looked at new SUVs also. Good experience with Cal. We originally were wanting to look at the Hybrid Rogues but there weren't any and it seems the Rogue Hybrid fuel efficiency isn't that amazing anyhow. The few suggestions for improvement for this dealership would be to have less speed bumps, as every 10 feet seems unnecessary, especially with a sleeping baby in the car. Also improve the flow in and out of the dealership lot, as it is an odd flow around the back with minimal signage and overcrowded. Another suggestion is to have the manager behind the curtain (in the corner office) introduce him/her self and provide us the interest rate chart before committing to a down payment or not. I understand there are interest rate tiers... but now that you ran my credit and know about me, lets talk options, as I wanted to know if my heloc rate was better than any car loan and what loan providers there are to choose from. Cal did a good job relaying the messages, but it was still odd. Last suggestion is that the limit to charge to a credit card for card rewards is a little low. $2,500 is fine, but Servco Toyota let us put $5,000 on a our credit card(s) to get the card rewards. Cal and Darren did a good job helping us with everything and we're happy to know you guys have high quality used cars too. More
Stan Mull, Manager I want to thank the manager at Tony Nissan in Waipahu for his excellent customer service and for being a man of his word. About a month ago May 19th I want to thank the manager at Tony Nissan in Waipahu for his excellent customer service and for being a man of his word. About a month ago May 19th my driver side door stopped unlocking. Couldn’t open it from the outside or inside or even with the key 😉 Took my vehicle in to find out the problem and the technician “Daniel” told me the locking mechanism was stuck. In order to fix the problem the mechanics would have to break my door to get to the part. Well unfortunately, my warranty had ran out so this breaking the door to fix the locking mechanism would cost about $1500 including lab charges, ??😳 I don’t have $1500 to fix a door. I explained to the technician, stop all work I will pick up my car and call, email and write the manufacturing company. Well for about 2 weeks I had to climb over the passenger seat to get into the drivers seat to get in my car 😢. Around June 4th Stan Mull the manager sent me an email asking me to bring in my vehicle. I politely explain to him my financial situation and that the problem was a manufacturing issue not a dealer issue, I asked him What could he do. He asked me to bring the vehicle in and he would do his best. Okay, I took the vehicle in on 11 June before going to work, I got a rental and explained to Mr, Stan not to fix anything without consulting me first. He agreed. By noon I received a phone call explaining that yes the locking mechanism was stuck and yes they could repair it for only the price of the part $296 😊. Okay! I told him to go forward with the repairs. He also explained they were able to get the door apart without breaking it. 😁 Okay, so Mr. Stan orders the part first here on island (unavailable) so now he had to order the part from the mainland 😒 which of course is going to take about 3 days express mail. Now my concern is the rental fee per day that my insurance isn’t covering because this is not a problem from an accident. Mr. Stan calls me and tells me don’t worry about the rental fee, keep the car FREE OF CHARGE until my car is fixed 😳 WHAT??I’m floored! So from 11 June to today 19 June I have been driving a nice 2017 rental car. I received a phone call today saying my car is ready for pickup. My only charge was for the part itself like Mr. Stan said and NO CHARGE for the rental car. 😁 Mr. Stan was already gone for the day by the time I picked up my vehicle at 5:30 pm. But I WANT TO SINCERELY say to STAN MULL the manager at Tony Nissan in Waipahu, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND to get my door repaired. I pray a BLESSING upon your life. If the world had more people like you this world would be a better place to live. 😘 Ms. Daniel More
