Tonkin Hillsboro Ford

1st time I've used Tonkin Ford. Problem with my AC, pumping out warm air. They found a refrigerant leak on a hose caused by the last dealership replacing the valve cover gasket.A br Problem with my AC, pumping out warm air. They found a refrigerant leak on a hose caused by the last dealership replacing the valve cover gasket.A bracket didn't get fastened properly and was rubbing on the hose, cut it open over time. Valentina my service writer is very professional, personal and seems to know what she is talking about technically. I would have rated them a 5, however a loud clicking noise coming from under the dashboard began after I dropped the truck off. Turns out its the blend door actuator. Now, how all of a sudden does this happen? They paid for half of this replacement. None of the parts AC or actuator were in stock so I have to come back twice now, luckily its on my way to work.Its nice that this dealership did a multipoint inspection and came up with a list of maintenance items to do, some of which I already did. So why didn't they check my Ford pass records? Minus the blend door actuator issue and having to go back twice due to not having parts in stock is why I didn't give them a 5. More

I had a terrible experience at Tonkin service! Took over a month for a AC repair. Every time we talked to the service writer he seemed to have no idea what was going on.
