So i went in today to have my computer flashed on my gladiator seeing how i upgraded my turn signals from halogen to factory oem led turn signals. These were supposed to be simple plug and play but i wa gladiator seeing how i upgraded my turn signals from halogen to factory oem led turn signals. These were supposed to be simple plug and play but i was wrong they are not. Apparently mopar failed to inform me that i would have to pay to flash my truck to accommodate the change from halogen to led. This cost was 195.00 on top of the cost of turn signal assemblies i purchased. I called the dealership and asked if they could get me in and flash my vehicle and was told yes. I went into the service department and shortly after arriving i see the service manager angry and stopping around throwing his hands in the air and yelling at my advisor. Low and behold he was upset cause the advisor took me in while they were short handed. I was never made aware of this as my advisor told me to come in, and so i did. After being there for just over two hours and this manager who was upset was also the one working on my vehicle, my advisor comes to me and says they tried several times and the computer would take the upgrade. I was thoroughly confused as to how a mopar computer in a dealership service department could not update a mopar computer in a jeep and then was still charged for absolutely nothing. My opinion is this service manager was in his feelings and just did whatever he did and said nope won’t work. The sheer unprofessional nature of this manager makes me question everything that happened today and makes me wonder if he even tried. Wasted my money and my time for what?, cause he was butt hurt being short staffed. A problem i didn’t create. Won’t go back there for nothing! More
