I felt like he really cared about giving me great service, and that is very unique in the world today. He was very competent, and advised me on what service items I needed and worked with me so it did not break my bank. Gene Horne the shuttle driver also did an outstanding job taking me to where I needed to go. These two guys made my service experience today at Tom Wood Volkswagen excellent. At no point did I feel pressure to buy, however, I felt very comfortable in the dealership and felt like I was receiving a fair trade in deal. I live out of state and came to visit a friend who lives in Indiana. I had a flat tire and took my car to Tom Woods Volkswagen. I was a little frustrated and hesitant because, looking at how nice and fancy this place was, I thought it would cost me an arm and a leg just to fix my flat. Boy, was I wrong. The pricing was very great compared to other places I've been, and that was a huge burden lifted off of my shoulders. Also, you could really tell that the service tech that helped me, Derrick Thames, really loves what he does. He had the best attitude and made sure my car was ready to go quickly. It's not every day that you find someone that is so clearly in love with their job. Very refreshing. More
