Lou was fantastic! Incredibly friendly with my parents and me. He explained everything super well, especially for a first time car owner. My experience was seamless and expedient. Having completed a majority of the purchasing process online Saturday morning, I arrived at the dealership the same afternoon at approximately 3:00 p.m. De completed a majority of the purchasing process online Saturday morning, I arrived at the dealership the same afternoon at approximately 3:00 p.m. Despite multiple salespersons being actively engaged with purchasing customers, Lou coordinated with momentarily available salespersons, managers and financial advisers to expedite my purchase. The entire process, including an extensive test drive, trade appraisal and vehicle preparation required less than three hours. Tom Wood discounted the price of my WRX and offered a fair price, more than I expected, for my 2010 Forester premium with < 89,000 miles and two rear-end collisions. Better yet, Tom Wood allowed me to pay the maximum amount via credit card so that I could gain airline miles and mail the remaining balance in after my bonehead miswrote the only check in my possession, they even provided a prepaid Fedex envelope. I am a longtime customer of Tom Wood Subaru’s service depart. I now expect to be a future customer of this sales staff. Nice people but very unorganized. Went in for a recall part. Said on the recall letter it would take roughly an hour. Made a 9:00 appt. 2 hrs later still not started..2/1/2hrs later they finished. Not that many cars there so I couldn’t figure out that reasoning/excuse. Even though I had a 9:00 appt didnt mean they would work on it at 9.... it was just a time slot. Why make an appointment if it means nothing????? More

I ended up test driving a Impreza and was very impressed. At the end of the day it was my top choice, and I talked with Lou to meet with him to talk buying. I very much liked the email communication from the start, made it very easy to reach out. The car buying experience itself was also great. Super friendly and with just a bit of back and forth we both got to a price that was agreeable to both. Not much to say about the rest of the process, just top notch, friendly customer service. More
We had an excellent experience at Tom Wood with Mike with the purchase of both of our vehicles the past few years. I came in thinking I knew what I wanted (an Outback) and he had me try out a Forester based the purchase of both of our vehicles the past few years. I came in thinking I knew what I wanted (an Outback) and he had me try out a Forester based on my description of why I thought I wanted an Outback and I fell in love. It was an easy process from start to finish of selecting what I wanted, sending it over and getting the car. Mike did all the hard work of tracking it down for me and getting what I wanted and openly communicating what was available and considerations related to COVID-19. We also had our little guy with us through the test drive and buying process and everyone couldn't have made it easier allowing us to step out and zoom him around when needed, swapping parents for signatures and helping to entertain him. We also had an enjoyable loan experience with Max who was open about our options and what he would do in our position. We took him up on his advice and he was flexible with last minute changes. (To the extent you can be with a loan). Thanks so much to the whole team! More
