Could have been better Went to Quick Lane for an oil change and tire rotation. Multiple employees behind service desk but only one assisting customers. One was a new employe Went to Quick Lane for an oil change and tire rotation. Multiple employees behind service desk but only one assisting customers. One was a new employee so I guess he doesn’t really count. Service writer said I wanted the Works package but when I asked what was involved or the cost I was told it included what I wanted. My truck was taken back within 10 minutes or so but was not finished for over an hour and a half. Since I could see the truck, and the employee working on it, I can say with great certainty that it was not the quick lane. It was the ‘slower than a 7 year itch’ lane. I’ve don’t a lot of my own oil changes and things over the years but this guy takes the cake. I’ll allow for some things like using the equipment to do certain checks but since I wasn’t aware of what was being checked (I asked but wasn’t told) I was wondering if he was really working or just amusing himself while I waited. I am at least a bit concerned that maybe he was attempting ‘busy work’ instead of truly doing what he was supposed to do. I know that he could have performed this service in less time than he took to do it. He was not working on multiple vehicles, just mine. When I got the truck back, my auto headlights had been turned off and it appeared that my mirror was adjusted (tilted in a manner I don’t do). Had I been told what was being done I might be able to offer more details but I was brushed off. I visited the website hoping to find out what was involved but all it said after the oil change and tire rotation was “and much more” which isn’t helpful. At checkout I was not told that I had reward dollars to use which I found out later, when my receipt arrived. I would have liked to use those. I had a great purchase experience, a great experience with the after market service I had done in June 2017 but this visit to the Quick Lane has me thinking I’d rather take my chances with the normal service guys. I don’t think I’ll bother with the Quick lane anymore. More

Did not schedule my first check up when the service guy came out...I was not asked or offered. However, looking back the admin person tried to hint to have him set this up and he didn't. I didn't know that was a standard at that moment. More

Return visit on 10/2/17 required a strut replacement--Ford ESP warranty department denied coverage and I paid out of pocket. I discovered later that in fact the repair was covered; however, communication with the dealership regarding this error was quite problematic. On 10/20/17, when I returned for a different issue, the matter was settled to my satisfaction (still awaiting verification of the credit). The work performed on 10/2/17 (credit to Kyle for seeing this difficult repair through to completion) was satisfactory. Although the issue on 10/20 (rough idle) was initially presented by the Service Advisor Dewayne Hudson as my liability, he took upon himself the responsibility of sorting the warranty problem and was able to verify coverage, thereby dramatically reducing the charge for the repair. Both the Quik Lane Manager Ms. Maddie Barton and (especially) Service Advisor Mr. Dewaynes Hudson deserve credit for working through a difficult warranty issue. They have helped to restore my confidence in Tom Wood Ford. The three-star rating reflects some minor damage to the vehicle during the Quik Lane and Service Department service visits. I am satisfied with the work performed on 10/20/17. As the idle issue has improved but is not yet fully corrected, I will be returning to Tom Ford in the near future to have it addressed further. I called ahead and was able to get your number from my local distributor. Jill was very professional and thorough on the phone. You were very patient in dealing with our leasing company (it’s a Fleet car), getting the proper approvals and keeping me in the loop as to your progress – I really appreciated that! Here’s the kicker – on my way home, and accident occurred between a car and tractor trailer only a few lengths in front of me in Pennsylvania. I was glad then, when I needed the brakes most, that you and your team had returned them to like new condition! (Fortunately, no one was hurt in the accident). More
