Decided to change dealers following a move and figured I would give Tom Wood Ford a shot. Unfortunately, my experience here has been miserable. My first appointment for a standard oil change on my 2014 Ford would give Tom Wood Ford a shot. Unfortunately, my experience here has been miserable. My first appointment for a standard oil change on my 2014 Ford Escape resulted in recommendations of over $10,000 worth of services. While I understand that these services are optional and I did decline them, it's still curious why these issues were not found at the Ford deal in the other location during my routine oil changes. Additionally, when paying for my vehicle, after waiting 25-30 minutes to be seen because they didn't have enough staff to check-out those waiting, they charged me for a service that was not displayed/approved by me. I did receive a note AFTER my appointment with an apology for the confusion, but still shady business practices. Today, I called because my dashboard has multiple indicator lights showing up and I have a trip on Monday so needed to try to find a place to look at it before I hit the road. They informed me that they were fully booked through next week, which is completely understandable, but when I asked if they would have any place they would recommend for a Ford customer to take their car, given my situation, I was informed that they did not have any place that they would recommend because they were unaware of any other reputable place to take my vehicle. I will be finding a new dealership to service my vehicle. More
